  • can you tell me your settings? I can't seem to get a decent sound like that out of mine

  • Hey mate i recently bought the exact same amp off one of my dads best friends.

There mint, What year is yours? I believe mines an 84.

  • @xJOEYPOISONx , I am not sure of the year. Mid 80's I guess. No matter what, it sounds so fine! Rock on bro!

  • @xJOEYPOISONx i thought these particular amps were made in '87?

  • @theamericanaromantic , mid 80's is all i know. Not sure of the year. A cool vintage amp for sure!

  • How would this be for something like Petrucci's stuff?

  • @FarazR2 , this amp has such a great bright clean channel that you just add your effects and play anything!Overdrive channel is kinda raw.. you neen to make it sweeter. A delay pedal would definitely add some spice to this overdrive. I hope this helps. George

  • I have the same amp and i play with emg pick-up...it kick ass !!!

  • I remember that tone!!! I had one of these amps in the early 80s. That and a 1980 Ibanez AR300 gave me a very similar tone to what I hear in this video clip. Wish I hadn't sold that amp. DOH!!

  • @bricknboxer , exactly! This is an 80's model and still rocks!

  • play on you are crazy!!

  • no effect at all??

  • i seriously want this amp because it is the perfect studio amp!

  • @LastXzIII Go look for one brother! It is a great vintage loud little devil :)

  • Your PRS sounds great too!

  • @theonlywinner , thank you so much bro!

  • how loud can this amp get? is it big enough for like bar gigs etc ?

  • it is IDEAL for bar gigs bro! This is what I am using from now on. it is louder than you think..

  • Great demo how much did you pay for yours?I found one for sale for €700 ($1000).

  • this is the price i got it too, and sure worths every penny!!!!!!!!

  • is that a typical price for this amp? there's one on my local craigslist for $500.

  • well... mind that it may need new tubes or speaker..or both! 500 sounds too low..

  • saw one at my local guitar center store on sale used for $549 yesterday...

  • well... even if it needs to replace some stuff.. it is still a bargain! go get it!!!

  • saw another one on sale for $475 and it had brand new tubes. $500 seems to be about standard around here.

  • i saw one for 225 on ebay awhile back would that have been a good buy

  • @Rectumfryer lol yes that would have been an insane amp for that money

  • would this be better than a line6 spider iii 75w ? ive never had a valve amp before

  • hi..

any valve amp would be better than a digital one.

All digital effects may sound impressive but the analog sound of a tube amp is much more real.. if you know what I mean.. It is your choice.. get to your guitar dealer and try a couple of tube amps..Good luck bro.

  • I'm pretty sure a steaming pile of dog poop would sound better to a line 6 spider 3.

No offense to any line 6 players out there.

But yeah man, tube amps are the way to go.

  • lol ive got a line6 spider III 75w but ive got a peavey valveking 112 coming sometime this week, cant wait, its my first valve amp.

  • you wont be disappointed, valvekings are pretty good, reliable amps.

  • can anyone tell me the weight of this amp?

  • sounds like nirvana

  • haha, why not? :)

  • I just got one of these amps today.... A nice portable compliment to my X-100B half-stack! A few scuffs, but in very good shape. Mine's the '+' model.. No footswitch, but I've figured out how to short a jumper cable to get the drive channel...

  • hi, mine's the + model , too! Great amp bro! Check your inbox about a footswitch :)

  • do u play hard rock to light metal at all u should do a semo of that the thing screams with mettalica stuff or even like van halen awspme amp

  • I currently play classic to kinda hard rock and blues to kinda power blues :)

enjoy your Boogie as much as I do mine :)

  • awsome amp mine was in mint condition and i got it for 330 great deal

  • excellent!!!!

  • how many watts is this amp?

  • just 22, but this is loud when it comes to tube amps. This thing plays way louder than my Roland cube 60watts (solid state amp)..

  • how much does this amo cost, someone is offering one for 500 is this a good deal

  • are you kidding me??? Go grab it before someone else does!!! It costs a lot more if it really is in a very good condition! Mind that this is a "rare - most wanted" model!

  • wats the first song u were playing

  • that was not a specific song. Just some chords

  • Looks like a Paul Reed Smith guitar. The best guitar made by far.

  • so true my friend!!!!!

  • heyy wat are u amp settings

  • details sent in your inbox bro :)

  • 5* for the amp. 1.000.000* for the playing
