@retardedforfun117 Ryan: Also, hitch hiking seems to be very safe, and we found many hikers doing it, because they waren't able to or didn't want to hire vehicles. There's an abundance of life, so im sure if you could hunt and fish (and im not sure on hunting laws) you might be able to survive for quite some time as long as you can endure the cold.
@retardedforfun117 Ryan: Yes, we certainly did meet many penniless hikers who live for the mountains. Notably one person who had done many of the "great walks" back to back for who knows how many months, and he'd been living off tinned tuna. He gave us some really useful techniques for staying alive in the snow.
it sure is! if you need any info on places or prices etc let us know and we can send u some info we used to plan our trip. There is so much natural wonder- its all up to the traveller as to where they want to stay, but campervans are cheap as anything and it means u can sleep anywhere - we slept out in the middle of the mountains next to a river once surrounded by wild cows, it was amazing!! we are penniless hikers and it was a wonderland for us :)
@retardedforfun117 thank you! we try to capture what we can, it seems almost impossible to when there is such intense beauty almost everywhere u look!
hey thanks for the feedback, good then you can come travelling with us when we go up north - the next big one is Northern Territory, Australia, we'll be going into the Kakadu, Kimberley, and heading from Darwin to Broome, in cyclone monsoon season (DEC / JAN).
this looks amazing. nice work ryan :) the whole trip was wonderous and you just can't believe that such variation in terrain and weather patterns can exist in one country so close to us!! We do need to go back and experience the snow there... go in the peak of winter and almost freeze to death. Sounds like fun :) :)
