  • We're now trying to start an organic house church in DC, one that is free from institutionalized worship and traditions not grounded in the bible. Please, pray that God fully works through and blesses our endeavors and that we'll be bold and active in this area.

  • My boyfriend went to a house church in Tampa and he told me stories about how the body there was living and breathing, how every member could be open with one another, and how it was truly a sanctuary for believers in Him.

  • Hello! I'm a christian from the Northern Virginia area and I've "grown up" in the church of Christ. I've recently begun questioning if what I have been taught is truly biblical, if the way we worship is really lead by the Spirit, and if we're actually functioning as a body and reaching out to the lost with all of our hearts.

  • These guys are definelty on to something,

  • I am just getting into the house church movement. check out my website jonathanrovetto with a .com

  • Thank you, a picture (video) is worth a thousand words. I have had friends ask what my wife and I are doing these days, where we are going to church, etc. and struggled in trying to give a concise response. We have had hit and miss success in connecting with others, but are staying the course, trusting God to bring us together with whomever, whenever and wherever He pleases.

Advertising a house/ home/ simple/ organic church is somewhat antithetical so finding others can be hard. Thanks

  • it will cost you every thing even your own life to see and be the bride of Christ

Restoration not revoluotion is what I see Jesus doing among His people

Count the cost unless a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die

Then BY GRACE take all you have and purchase the Pearl

    Great message video

  • Good clip

  • Always glad to see others gathering together in the name of the Lord in houses or wherever. On another note, I recently published a novel about a minister's tough decision to follow his denomination or God. It's called Parting Ways. I'll try to post the book trailer as a response. Whether you're interested in the story or not, keep up the good work!

  • What's the song at 7:09??? Need it! :) Send to worldrenegademusic at gmail

  • Like it. I hope and pray for something like that in my place!

  • PART 1

The "simple church" approach is a core necessity in the body of Christ. In fact before the Nicene Council the Church was predominately run by spirit-led "layman," in other words, simple believers in the church participated in it's spiritual growth and expansion.

  • PART 2

However, after Nicene the Hierarchy was established in the Church, which resulted in a the "lay people" being viewed as third class citizens in the body of Christ; now they took a back seat to the Bishops, etc. and were no longer viewed as qualified to do ministry.

Hence the frustration that exists today - Yes the Church was never intended by God to be reduced to a mere spectator sport.

  • PART 3

However along with all the good this video presents - there is a serious flaw. In an attempt to establish the more Biblical and simple church approach, they seek to do so by "attacking" as it were, the traditional church approach. Thus shooting themselves in the foot. Whenever God is in a thing we don't have to go out of our way to put something else down in order to raise something else up. Let the results speak for themselves, that becomes your greatest argument.

  • PART 4

There is an incredible amount of Good that has takn place inside the traditional structure of doing church. Local Churches hv impacted countless millions of lives and impacted cities and communities. To dismiss this reality is to do the "Simple Church" a horrible dis-service. Why not add to the existing church rather than tear it down with words.

As 4 the Presbyterian Pastor who resigned hs church becuz it wasn't doing anything for him - Not all services are created equal

  • Facebook chat for Home Churches.

Go too: House Churches In The Last Days.

  • YUCk.jim ritz is a hateful liar.

"If he is a boy, it's far worse: He may not reach puberty till much later than normal."-what??? that's not a fact, that isn't even a specific point. pretty generalized. wake up. he's homophobic and lies.fabricates facts. how do people not see that he and his cronies take advantage of their beliefs, and manipulate so they join him, feed him THEIR HARD EARNED money, and spread his hate.

  • @TheCaittt Yup. But, on the other hand, he's an excellent writer. I still think he's a fuckwad.

  • Get alone with the Lord! This is truth and thank you Father for this video!

  • Get alone with the Lord! This is truth!

  • Outstanding the REAL THING!

  • a church is not a building or an organisation......but rather a group of believers who were called out by God

  • God lives in the Present! Where we join Him is mankinds will.

  • "God is doing amazing things in traditional church"......I've never seen it. It looks like you are more like the traditional beast than not. In 5 years you'll be renting a store front and paying a pastor.

  • Thank you for giving to the LOrd
