@ckyfan08 wrong, the audio is from a voice actor the same one forestfire used. He and I were collaborating on a full motion comic of The Killing Joke, but he completely dropped out of the project. This video was posted about a year before Forestfires btw.

When Germany failed to deliver some requested telegraph poles, FRANCE used that as an excuse to invade western Germany 1923-1925. Oh yeah man...I've caught a lot of shit for saying they are the best short stories in existence. English professors don't quite appreciate the sentiment. I know an issue of Sandman won an award for best short story of one year and then they made a rule after the award was given that said a comic couldn't receive it anymore. It's just looked down upon for some reason

one possible small mistake in Pgirt's intepretation...i don't have a copy of the book on hand, but it appears from panel at 2.24 that Joker is saying "war DEBT creditors" (so, the Allied countries who established what was owed to them by Germany after WW1, indirectly leading to WW2), which Pgirts probably read as 'dept'. it doesn't detract much from the reading though.
