I too like very much the r6, never got one, only had hondas (VFR and know CBR929), but i think 600 know a days don´t value your money. For a little extra money i go for the 1000cc. The cbr1000rr 08 is the one to go for. Quality and value above all. The yamaha style is master.

I have a 06 and i think the new 08 is nothing to gock at. They changed the body enough to where i don't like it, also very ugly color schemes.

its a moderately fast sportsbike, check out the youtube videos that others have posted. everyone has a personal preferance on what they call "fast" but i think this bike matches up pretty good.

dont get me wrong, its one of the fastest of the 600cc sportbikes and its hella fast, but i was talking about all classes which would include 1000cc bikes and above as well, such as the R1, GSX-R 1000, Hayabusa, etc...basically, its a race bike but it wont match the top end of aforementioned bikes.
