Heck, that equipment was old back in 89. I'd bet that they used the tower back in the 70's, believe it or not.
I'm guessing the aluminum poles are a bit newer...like the early 80s. I've got some very old programs and a lot of the cradles that we used, and y'all may still use are antiques.
so this vid is from 89? we still have the same harness, 4-high pole, 5-high pole, we used the same tower in the last homeshow and just got a new one
