  • Lives in the ox from birth 1990 till 98 if im correct ..im always going back though ..Now I've lived in Portland Or since...I love my City of CHIQUES!!!!

  • It's totally changed from the 60's..!! I remember Gonzales Rd being a 2 lane road with very tall eucalyptus trees lining both sides of the road for blocks. No shopping malls or auto centers. And tons of strawberry and vegetable fields as far as you could see.

    Simple times :)

  • @titanium9000 - wow that's nice to know. i know the feeling of seeing how places change overtime. i have quite a few old videos of certain places and I can't wait to film them again after years. :)

  • @titanium9000 i wish i could see oxnard when i was younger :/

  • @ROBSKIES211 - you're still young at 19 dude.:)

  • oh are you from the Blanca Drive area?

  • Yeah, I used to live in Oxnard, grew up there and went to Channel Islands, Hueneme High Schools, Haydock Jr High and also Elm Street Elementary. I loved it there but got older and had to leave due to work. I sure miss Channel Islands Harbor and all the great fishing it offers. Thanks for sharing your video, brings back memories.

  • hi dude! glad you liked this video. it was my first time in Oxnard, hope to be back soon. =)

  • boring d2 sa oxnard ano......we will move to los angeles next year..

  • ah okay. yeah, there were not that much to do in Oxnard without car. It's better in Los Angeles, many places to go even on foot.

  • pare pinoy kayo pala....i live there near the oxnard beach

  • oh okay cool. sayang di kami naka bisita, haha. how long you've been there?

  • Oh cool to hear that man. Hope you can come and visit the neighborhood sometime. =)

  • Whoa, I used to live in Oxnard until I moved in 2005. You live in the same neighborhood where my cousins live :O

  • that is where tillman the skatboarding dog lives

  • I used to live in Oxnard from 1984-85.

  • its changed ALOT since the 80s...no more fields :(...even wagon wheel is getting torn down for mini condos and appartments

  • Wow really, it would have been more appealing then if it still has fields and the wagon wheel. But I guess that's the result of population growth, more and more land are being turned into housing. Same thing is happening here in the Philippines.

  • demarcjw, I was in the Philippines (Subic Bay) 1981,82, and 83 when my ship was there. The longest we stayed there was about 2 weeks. I used to visit Olongapo quite often. airjor1

  • Oh cool man, so you've been to the Philippines. Nice to hear that, I haven't been on Subic Bay but I heard it's a very clean place and still lots of americans, hehe. I should try visiting the place and take videos. You don't have plans to coming back to the Philippines for a vacation?

  • Thank you for the info.

  • feeling ko ksama nio ko sa loob ng kotse...huh.. ingat godbless

  • hi there redshee07! thanks and you take care too! =)
