  • johnny cash bows to no one he is a god

  • I recall all the old classic johnny cash songs from when I was a kid. I think that he got more popular in his later days with a wide range of fans of all ages. One of the wieird things is that first depeche mode, then cash and manson all made popular the song personal jesus.

  • This man was awesome. It doesnt matter what your favourite music is....his music speaks to everyone!

  • And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts

And I looked and behold, a pale horse

And his name that sat on him was Death

    And Hell followed with him.

  • This song is awesome

  • 10 people will disappear into the potter's ground.

    When the Man comes around.

  • 10 people just need a fucking slap!

  • I'm not sure I was put here for a purpose but I really do think Mr Cash was put here to let the world hear a truly unique and beautiful voice.

  • Radio 6 Brought Me Here.

This Is Just Amazing, The Lyrics Are Like Poetry.

  • @WhyWishFor

From the Good Book. With respects to Mr. Cash.

  • Rest peacefully you legend, sigh.

  • You know those songs where you just sigh.. and for a moment there, everything seems alright. Yeah, this is one of them.

A voice, a piano, and a guitar. Yet they make such a sigh-worthy song.

Sorry, i'm feeling rather poetic today. :)

  • I love this man and I swear he is the only person who could change me with a song :)

    RIP Mr Cash

  • how can 10 people dislike this?! o.O

  • There will be a golden ladder reaching down....

  • Chuck Norris holds the door for Johnny Cash !

  • Stop all the preaching, just enjoy the art in this song.Only a Southerner could write a song like this. You would have to have lived both sides of life and grown up in the conflicted culture of the South.

  • man if zombies come im gonna play this song while im fighting them when the man comes around

  • @phill3po I so hear you

  • And to the one who does not work but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness, just as David also speaks of the blessing of the one to whom God counts righteousness apart from works: "Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered;

blessed is the man against whom the Lord will not count his sin."

  • What then shall we say was gained by Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh? For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. For what does the Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness." Now to the one who works, his wages are not counted as a gift but as his due.

  • @Aeonswins You're an idiot. He says "everybody WONT be treated all the same" you stupid douche.

He means the sinners will roast in hell while the righteous will go to heaven. It's called Judgment Day for a reason. God says "You guys are good, and you guys are evil".

I'm not even a Christian and I understand the Bible better than you. Please kill yourself.

  • @EntropicMisanthropic While your attitude could use a readjustment, you're right about knowing your bible a little better. Only thing is no one is good on the account of themselves, but on the account of only what Christ could possibly do for them. People are not judged to be good by their own actions; as that would mean everyone would deserve judgment, but on the account of Christ's work for them.

"He that believeth unto Me shall have everlasting life."

  • @MRKetter81 Sorry friend. As I said, I'm a non-theist with a particular disgust for "fair weather Christians", the exact kind that Johnny's disgusted with, who seem to think they can do whatever they want and so long as they believe in Heaven they'll never have to answer for their sins.

Under the Ten Commandments I would be a terrible sinner indeed, but a false Christian who sins knowingly and uncaringly, believing in a God with no moral judgment, is a far uglier monster to my eyes.

  • 9 people are afraid of the man that comes around

  • RIP Johnny Cash,,, a true troubaur for all ages

  • personally i think this would be an awesome song for a supervillian of some sort

  • i follow the left hand path, and quote from the bible all the time, it means nothing. the bible is a book at the end of the day.

  • What magnificent high note to go out on.

  • Johnny don't give a shit if you're saved or not. Johnny Cash don't give a shit about a message. Johnny Cash just plays music. The best music. I thank God on a DAILY basis for Johnny Cash.

  • Dude, he qoutes from revelations in the bible. He had religious reasons for it. =/

  • rip

  • 9 people got there name taken from the MAN O_O

  • When the man comes around.

  • dawn of the dead was on today and i just had to search this song!

  • "there will be a golden ladder breaching down"

  • 8 people's names were called by "The Man"

  • i'm not a christian but this song is the shit.. j.c. died on my birthday and im one of his biggest fans. long live johnny cash. i know he will.

  • @bigpiney1000 are you listening to the words of this song?

  • @bigpiney1000 ok dumbass you said johnny cash died on your birthday then you said long live johnny cash. How the FUCK can you live if your dead?

  • @KondemnedSaint ~_~...

  • @KondemnedSaint I'm almost positive that they don't mean literally.. They mean long live the legend of Johnny Cash. Not zombified Johnny Cash.

  • @KondemnedSaint Well to get technical... Johnny was a true believer of Jesus Christ. So yes, he never truly died, he lives eternally in joy and peace with the Lord. Ultimately, that is what this song is about... to disappear into the potter's ground means to not accept Christ and allowing our soul to die and part from the potter (Christ).

  • I think this is one of the best songs he ever did.

  • I'm gonna cut 7 throats tonight. RIP John.

  • @lucasisblack make it 8 throats

  • i wonder how many wil play this song on wintersolstice in two years lol

  • Johnny cash had vision. He sang how it was and is to be. Wonderful song that makes me think.

  • Amazing song

  • Johnny Cash has the most powerful lyrics, each and everyone of his songs has a message. This is more then just "music" and thats what sets LEGENDS like him apart from all the other silly musicians, its not that they lack "talent" but but they do lack passion and soul and thats what makes musicians into HEROES and LEGENDS.

  • Will you partake of that last offered cup, or disappear into the Potter's ground...when the man...comes around.

  • @cheese9314 You get the same fast result at Video2mp3

  • the best!~

  • "And behold,i saw a white horse." The man came around Johnny, r.i.p. brother :)

  • @cheese9314 Thanks for using this video for that :)

  • this song is amazing but it scares the shit outta me.

  • @bigsmoke53 Dude, thats the best comment EVER. It makes me laugh because it's so true...

  • @bigsmoke53 He's only telling us about what is about to happen in the world.

  • @bigsmoke53 Fear and faith cannot exist in the same space...simply believe and you WILL be saved...fear no more!

  • Johnny was a lot more of a ballad singer than Elvis. Johnny Cash! Only one man. But Jesus is the way to eternal life!

  • I love zombies. =D

  • @emarine Zombies are awesome

  • Revelations 8:8...any testament. And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; Need i say more? this man was a prophet for his time and he did not know it. • @TheBlindZebraProject its revelation 28 i think

  • @TheBlindZebraProject Revalation 6:7-8.

  • ill play this song loud as hell when the world ends!!!!!!

  • @R2DTOOD Could be soon now.

  • Man, talk about the voice of a man conflicted... Cash represents every one of us; his ability to stay connected to his roots in spite of his fame is what makes him a musical icon, not anything else.

  • @tecmotimes agreed. This song (and his version of Hurt) were done near the end of his life when he felt he was facing death and really thinking about it. It shows.

  • I love this recording.

  • This song worked so well in the opening credits of "Dawn Of the Dead".

  • I don't see how anyone can not like this song.

  • @Kovven Without a doubt. And it was used in the Terminator television series 1st season finale.

  • @thatfurrypinkbunneh fuck yea, i keep replaying it while i drive.

  • @thatfurrypinkbunneh some metal head probobly won't.

  • @thatfurrypinkbunneh So agreed , ive liked this song since the very first time i heard it. Listen to it on a weekly basic since then. Johnny was the ultimate bad ass. Forever Missed.

  • @thatfurrypinkbunneh Johnny Cash is the fucking man. End of story.

  • @thatfurrypinkbunneh If you are living in sin you might not like it so much :p

  • The hairs on my arms stand up every time I hear this amazing song!

  • bad ass

  • perfect song 4 zombie movies lol

    METAL GEAR!!!

  • Amazing. Cash near the end of his life came up with one of his best. God bless him.

  • This song is hard to cover, JC was a one of a kind talent.

  • Incredible song. Excellent audio. Difficult song written by Cash explaining the Coming of Jesus and his Judgement right after the AntiChrist's reign of hell. Rev. 6:6,8 describes the AntiChrist at the beginning of the song. The song tells just how much Cash understood the Bible. The Man is Jesus.

  • the song is called "The Man Comes Around"...not "When the man comes around".

  • same thing, i dont rly care. I downloaded it from TPB whit this name.

  • Yeah , who cares nit picker, that's what i typed in and found it

  • @Kovven Haha, well said!

  • @Kovven hilarious!

  • @JerichoAHilton I have changed it now, hope ya happy...

  • When there is no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth!!!!

  • What a brilliantly talented man. His style is incredibly unique. God bless you and rest in peace Johnny.

  • @AllahConsciousness Amen man.

  • Strongest song ever used to end a brilliant series. I first heard this song when I finished Generation Kill. Beyond beautiful.

  • yeah lol

  • Me to. Wonderful Series.

  • Awesome series, you also hear the song at the beginning of Dawn of the dead

  • Why do so many people have a hard time figuring out who "The Man" is?

Anyway, Johnny Cash is my hero. I'm still in awe of this song even though I've heard it a gazillion times. Johnny Cash isn't as well known as the Beatles or Elvis or anyone else considered a great musician. But damn, he was the best!

  • Happy Birthday Johnny!!!

  • One of his best works. There will never be another Johnny Cash. He was ahead of his time and will remain so.

  • Man, this is good. Can't get it out of my head and I don't mind.

  • either way i like to eat pizza

  • fucking johnny cash

    sooooo good

in my mind he was elvis

    RIP

  • I couldn't agree more. I think Cash was 8 times better than Elvis yet he only gets a fraction of the credit.

  • The difference, on a different note, between Elvis and Johnny Cash, both being phenomenal performers, is that Elvis was parrot of the human condition, lending himself to pop culture on several occasion; whereas Cash was a philosopher disguised as a musical genius.

  • amen to that

  • @posty92 Witch Elvis?

  • @posty92 Whoa now. Johnny Cash was great, but Elvis was pretty damn great oo.

  • @posty92 just like how the kinks are 10 times better than the beatles

  • @posty92 elvis was not that good only got so far because of his looks

  • yes the Man is Jesus!!!!

  • great great song. the book of revelation.

  • The Man being Jesus?

  • (When) the man come's around is the pitchfork intersect of divine moral judgment upon human history with terminal mortality to the one fork and eternal salvation on the the other fork. Although, the "Man" could be understood as Jesus, I tend to interpret as the intersect of judgement upon human morality.
