  • Very interesting composition. Since I myself played and uploaded all 6 Milan's Pavana's in youtube, I feel very close to these variations. Than you for uploading this piece. I had one very old record by Ray De La Torre, but I do not remember which one. Best regards, from freeing Tokyo.

  • Rey de la Torre, disciple of Miguel Llobet who was a disciple of Tarrega, is my favourite classical guitarist. This recording is very rare ! The composition is written in D, but here we hear it in D# /Eb . I don't know whether it had been upspeeded by a program or maybe Rey played with a capo (cejilla) in the first fret. WHO KNOWS ?
