ok, let's bring those 6 years up. Let's see, we were on probation most of that time (our own fault). 2004 was your "Breakout" season, though it shrunk all the way to this 5-7 season. In the '04 Iron Bowl, Bama had one of their worst seasons....but they only lost 21-13, and even held a 6-0 lead at halftime. In those 6 years, Auburn had a combined 37 more points than Alabama. In ONE game, 36 more points than Auburn. 6 years of barely squeezing by, and it all ends in humiliation come year 7. SAD

You can use the "no QB" excuse but you also have to include the 10 other guys on offense and the 11 guys on defense for the 7-5 record. The QB isn't the only person on a team that matters.

First off, Michigan has one of the better coaches in the country. Secondly, Bama brought in the #1 class last year but lost a lot of those recruits, so their class is technically not #1. Furthermore, that talent is was only frehman talent this year, that means nothing. LSU has been bringing top 5 talent.
