Also, I love the fact that she questions whether she wants Guts to stay for herself......and then answers it by saying yes as a matter of fact. Oh that's just so nice that she's made the decision already, but then breaks character by screaming for him at the end. Very smooth dub job I'd say.

The turning point, the follower becomes the leader and the leader becomes the follower. Griffith as strong as he is, realised that he needed Guts more than Guts needed him , which made his whole world fall apart. All the Hawks realised this and Corkus as much as he pretended to hate Guts was really projecting the hatred of his own inadequacies as a leader upon Guts. I love this freaking ANIME!!

This is the only time we see Griffith make a mistake in his rise to power, he might have actually been able to marry the princess in time, but for whatever reason Guts winning his freedom was enough to send him over the edge. Its almost an unbelievable flaw in Griffith's character.
