  • Thank you so much, im a basic programer that just wanted to speed up some scripts, thanks a lot this videos makes it so easy understanding and getting into macros :D

  • JAJA " IF IU DONT GET THAT I DONT KNOW HOW ELSE TO SAY IT :p" HAHAHA HHILARIOUSS !!

NICE TUTORIAL BY THE WAY !!!

  • Nice tutorial thanks!

  • How can I start a script with a key?

  • Big thanks. Now i understand =)

  • Okay, so I just started playing Never Winter Nights again and I'm wondering if there is any way to change the hotkeys from f1-f4to something like q,w,e,r. I've looked all through the setting and there isn't anywhere to change them and I have a feeling this game would be a lot more fun and flow a lot better if i could change them. If anyone can explain how to write a script that would do this it would be really nice. Also, if anyone could suggest a program I could use to make it easier. thanks!!

  • Auto Keybot is better...

  • Amazing!!!

  • FUCK AWESOME IVE ONLY BEEN using AHK bots for games this has helped me alot!! im subbing right NOW!

  • I need a "macro" to let me select and copy text from a HTML document opened in a browser then merged in a proper window inside a program GUI, then a couple of parameters (font size and type, etc) changed and then back to the browser, change the page, select the new content, copy, back to the program I am filling with that, and so on...

    Any tip for that?

Is that possible using this piece of software?

i could not find ASW_II but

ASW_I is bundled in ahk_basic and a better macro recorder by titan can be found on ahk forum

  • That's some cool shit, man! Thanks for the help!

  • thanks that helped

  • waoooo.thanks

  • You don't NEED autohotkey for single stroking a single app. Any .lnk at or beneath Start Menu can take a ctrl-alt shortcut making it accessible anytime. Of course it's less versatile (like everything involving Microsoft programming) but you can stick Ctrl-alt-X on Excel simply that way. .BAT files can be hooked up powerfully - again, not powerful as you've shown, but it works. (The "at or beneath Start Menu" was required a few OS versions ago - now ...\desktop\ is also acceptable, for example)

  • @decapitatespammers The major differences between AHK and the other ways of doing it is that a CTRL+ALT+Shortcut in AHK always works whereas assigning the same to a native Windows shortcut doesn't (it's hit or miss that way at best), and that shortcuts used in AHK are universal across the entire OS and not tied to any specific program. There are other ways of macro'ing in Windows, but AHK is one of the few (only?) that gets it right the first time.

  • @rmenga I prefer AutoIt, much cleaner language, and the same or even better i think :)
