Takes turns at .85-.89gs with stock tires. 0-60 stock is just over 5 sec. This car is just as good on the track as it is in a straight line. Believe me when it comes to performance the M3 is not in a different league.

I think there is a little bit of what i call "performance stretching" going on here. Its when you compare a number such as a 4.3 second 0-60 to a 5.1 and call them "basically the same league". yes i have the GT model but never took it on an actual track to test it properly just drove it from calgary to edmonton has good handling for city driving and was easy on gas for a V8 but i also own several BMW's and test them on tracks and whatnot handling is on another level my friend trust me pontiac is far from it

15-20 MPG is about the average and complete highway mileage **with good driving habits** will always be better than the EPA rating for the same. There really have been people that managed 28 or so MPG highway, especially with variable cylinder management.
This is, by no means, a bash against BMWs as they are also very fine cars deserving of respect, but many times I find the cars more interesting than most people who fanatically worship one make and annoyingly bash others.

that was an e42 m3 and not an e90. so it does not have a v8. it has a 3.3L 6 inline naturally aspirated making 333hp. the G8 has a 6+L making 367hp. even though the G8 has a 34hp advantage the, it got SMOKED!

It's not a decal It was a custom, airbrushed paint job($4000). I bought the GTO with the paint job on there which lowered the price by about $8000. I knew a painter who was willing to paint it all black for $2000. The numbers made sense. Now it's black.

LOL. An E32, E42 will cost less than a G8. The E92 however, will be more expensive seeing as its a newer model. E32 smokes G8 any day. That just goes to prove how much engineering goes into beamers compared to G8's. The beamer has less hp with a 6 inline 3.3 making 333hp. The G8's displacement is twice as much at 6.7 and only making 367hp.
whats the difference 6.7 or 6L. GM suffers a weight problem, they think the way to go faster is to add power. nd this has been a classic problem for GM. All big euro cars have shaved weight and tuned smaller engines to give more power. Example. BMW has an M3 with a 4L making 414 hp, Audi 4.2 good for 420hp. when it comes to GM or ford we are talking < 5L and realy heavy. Bad recepy for a car to bring to the track. I'll Get a beamer for sure all round performance.

15-20 MPG is about the average and complete highway mileage **with good driving habits** will always be better than the EPA rating for the same. There really have been people that managed 28 or so MPG highway, especially with variable cylinder management.
This is, by no means, a bash against BMWs as they are also very fine cars deserving of respect, but many times I find the cars more interesting than most people who fanatically worship one make and annoyingly bash others.

that was an e42 m3 and not an e90. so it does not have a v8. it has a 3.3L 6 inline naturally aspirated making 333hp. the G8 has a 6+L making 367hp. even though the G8 has a 34hp advantage the, it got SMOKED!

This was the first night I took my wife out to the track. She was riding in the passenger seat, I did NO BURNOUT, street tires. It's an automatic and I wasn't standing on the brake, I was explaining to her how to read the lights when I looked over it was GO time. It's not a decal It was a custom, airbrushed paint job($4000). I bought the GTO with the paint job on there which lowered the price by about $8000. I knew a painter who was willing to paint it all black for $2000. The numbers made sense. Now it's black.

LOL. An E32, E42 will cost less than a G8. The E92 however, will be more expensive seeing as its a newer model. E32 smokes G8 any day. That just goes to prove how much engineering goes into beamers compared to G8's. The beamer has less hp with a 6 inline 3.3 making 333hp. The G8's displacement is twice as much at 6.7 and only making 367hp.

whats the difference 6.7 or 6L. GM suffers a weight problem, they think the way to go faster is to add power. nd this has been a classic problem for GM. All big euro cars have shaved weight and tuned smaller engines to give more power. Example. BMW has an M3 with a 4L making 414 hp, Audi 4.2 good for 420hp. when it comes to GM or ford we are talking < 5L and realy heavy. Bad recepy for a car to bring to the track. I'll Get a beamer for sure all round performance.
