  • awsome!!

  • i got a shot course from xceed rc with a 1800 battary

  • is that a roterty speed control on that stampede?

  • were you get the truck

  • @swatrylan2 I got it from HobbyTownUSA. But a lot of other hobby shops and other stores carry them too.

  • Car.?

  • haha grips the ice. More like break the ice. Thanks i was about to use nails but tacks are soo much better

  • @MegaRallycar hahahalah me too

  • For a 1/10 scale nitro stadium truck would it be better to drill some hex bolts threw the tire into the rim or do this

  • @AllTheJues I'm not an expert, but if you want to go ahead and try it. Anything that will give it grip on the snow/ice and stay secured to the tire should be fine.

  • gripy

  • that looks fun

  • nice i like it

  • can you link me to the tacks you used please on somewhere like ebay? Thanks :)

  • @wrcallar I got mine from a dollar store. I'm not sure if they have similar stores where you live. But if you can find an office supply store they should have them. YouTube won't allow me to put a link for some reason. Just search for Solid Head Thumb Tacks on Amazon.

  • great job!

  • where did that body?

  • @clarkcheck Um, if you mean where did I get the body from, I got it from HobbyTown USA. The body is made by ProlineRacing.

  • @CarbonCat09 ok thanks

  • Would this work on my "real" car? Derp derp • 3 •

  • Not a bad idea

  • Ow my foot

  • im going to do this to mine and my friends rc cars

  • thats cool nice job man if mine was out there it wouldnt move i just snapped my axle, dandg brushless

  • what type of truck is that, its nice and fast!

  • @xLightningShotx Traxxas Stampede with a custom painted ProlineRacing Chevy body

  • that was pretty cool. never thought of that

  • It doesnt work does it ( sarcasum ) lol :) its awsome , CONGRATS , bet u r glad u were bored lmao :)

  • @PeugeotvsSaxo Thanks! Yep, they worked out great this year when my whole back yard froze over!

  • is this truck 4wd

  • @RCrich10 no

  • Can i just not file them down? sharp studs? :D

  • @qwertqwe sure, the only reason I filed them down was because they were too long and I didn't want them to snap off.

  • @CarbonCat09 Oh, ok. Sweet. would that be good traction on... like dirt too?

  • Very creative, and still is a nice colour for an rc car!

  • wow they work pretty damn well :P nice job and nice video duuddee :)

  • Good job man ! *****

  • not to bad derrrr buuudddddyyyy!!!!

  • wat do u use

  • @bigbadtruck1 I'm not sure what you're asking me. If you mean, what do I use for the studs? I used thumb tacks.

  • that is the best idea ever good on you bro love it

  • that is a pretty damn good idea I like the way you think. now I've got that same rc truck where did you get your body kit it look pretty cool man !!!!

  • @bubbawinchester Thanks! The body is a Proline 1972 Chevy C-10 Body, Product ID : 3251-00. Your local hobby store might carry them. If not you can go to Prolineracing . com and go to 1/10 truck bodies and order it there. I don't remember the paint I used on it.

  • @CarbonCat09 will any 1/10 truck body fit on it ?

  • @bubbawinchester They might but I don't know for sure. If you have a stampede look for a body that says "for Stampede". Otherwise you might have to change the body mounts.

  • @CarbonCat09 okay thanks I found what I was looking for! thanks for not being a ass about it either, I was talking to this one guy and he was like go find out for your self dumb fuck and I was just like what a bitch. thanks man!

  • are the shocks on that stampede stock?

  • @slurpy911 yes

  • Cool video. The old chev body looks great. I used tacks to stud my slash tires and it really helped on hardpack snow.

  • where did you get that body?

  • is that a stampede?

  • it would suck if it ran over your foot XD

  • they should use this on jackas but with bigger studs

  • Sounds just like real studded tires, clicky clacky down the highway, nice job man.

  • Nice shell and rims looks real good

  • Lol i was just thinking to do the same lol

  • yawn... so slow...

  • good thinking man next winter ill do this

  • sweet idea!

  • dude that truck is beast that things fast

  • im making some now the glue isnt working that well wat did you use

  • @yadnam I put super glue on the tack then pushed it through the tire. Then after that dried I put some more superglue on the outside of the tire were the tack came threw. I finally used some rubber cement and coated the inside of the tire. Hope that helps.

  • thank i was using superglue didnt think about rubber cement thanks

  • @CarbonCat09 shouldnt the g force when the wheeles spin hold them in place

  • @ryan129994 If the tire was constantly spinning and not touching the ground, then yes.

but once the tires are touching the ground they will eventually pop out, which is why I glued them in.

  • @CarbonCat09 this didnt happen to but i also used inch long nails and im only using a mini slash but mine did work and it went over 35 mph im sure

  • @yadnam well if you read the descriptoin it says that he used rubber cement which would work way better

  • sweet man-- thanks for the 'tips' -- I'm going to lake George in a few weeks & am going to try this out! Thanks again!!!

  • what car you have :d

  • @lolsiim Traxxas Stampede

  • nice
