I retired after 26 years working for the public. In less then 8 years , at the rate that the medical insurance is going up. My reitirement funds shall be spent entirely on the insurance.
I'm a state employee have not had a pay adjustement or other form of increase in pay in six years. After twenty years my pension will not even not pay my heath care cost. Every state is not Califorina but we are all pay the bill because we are all put in the same pot of over paid public employees.
I recently heard that so many Californians are leaving CA that CA will lose its congressional seat next year. There aren't enough people (taxpayers) left to foot these bills and there aren't enough people working to contribute to gov. jobs and pensions. It IS imploding, without a doubt.

That's not true -- I have relatives with criminal backgrounds who got into gov. jobs.
