Good stuff, I like the blowing powder. And sub-zero temps?? You're a braver man than I. I was out at Hamlet, NC on the 2nd, and in 28-30 degrees with the wind gusting my face was going numb after 10-15 minutes or so.

Re: the wind noise, an external mic with a fur windscreen will take care of that quite nicely. One of the best purchases I ever made.

Thanks! My car told me it was -2 degrees when I pulled in, and the winds made it even worse. I wanted to shoot the whole train, so I was hunched over behind the tripod, begging for mercy! It was fun though.
