There were quite a few predator birds in Florida. We had to keep an eye out. We would squawk and hide when we saw a predator -- in the video, you can see Leo looking up a lot to make sure it's clear. This is part of free-flight training.
I just ran across your videos recently and wanted to mention, this was one lucky bird. It's clear that he had lots of attention and it's clear he was treated like a member of the family. He couldn't have asked for a better life. God bless and thank you for all the videos.
How is Leo doing?? Please let us know!! I miss seeing him. I just discovered Leo and he is one lucky bird and you are all lucky also. He is so part of your family and these videos are amazing. I have 3 birds myself and wow Leo is one of a kind. Please Please update me with how he is! And can you post a new video with him in it? Is he ok?
I was wondering about Leo too. I lost my Sun in Jan to a hawk after weeks of flight training. My bird did the same thing as Leo, like to hang out in a tree until he felt like coming back but one day a very large hawk started sailing after him and chased him what seemed like miles away and I never saw him again. I knew they were out there but I had no idea they were so numerous and so many different species. I see them all over the place now that I'm always looking for them.

listen up and listen good,
you think LEO likes that it may look that way but he doesn't, ive learned from a mistake i thought my bird was enjoying what i was doing, just because i was having fun but LEO is your responcibility and when he dies from something you will learn just stop while you have the chance!!!!!
i am in love with leo. i have seen all leo's videos! i had a blue and gold macaw but she just passed away :( but now my mom is getting me a sun conure from petco named romeo for christmas :)
Wow, yes, we don't live there anymore, but we brought Leo into Lowes because the ceilings are high -- he learned how to come down without gaining too much speed. What a small world :)

Birds don't like that by the way!
heatherthompson08200 3 years ago
You're just making that up. He flew to that chain himself, as he does every day we go to the park, and when he was done, he flew off.
