This is Generation X punk. Not to be confused with Billy Idol's band, Generation X. In Pursuit has a kind of happy, funky backbeat and melodic guitar line that is completely at odds with 80's OC Punk anger. Thanks for posting, but I'll stick with the Adolescents. Kids of the Black Hole is the most epic punk song ever, IMHO.

The Vindictives are one of the best bands ever. Their cover of the Ramones album was the best of any of the punk bands that did it (even Screeching Weasel), and the Flim Flams were off the wall. I bought half my record collection at the Dummyroom from Jenny!! God I miss those days, anyone remember the "Big Show 2" with Slapstick, the Bollweevils, the Undesirables, the Hitmen, etc., at that church where they weren't suppose to swear.

@yogothegogo I listened to the whole thing first time a listened to the album. I always play an album all the way through when get something new. I love this song and think the guitar riff is pretty addictive to listen to but probably won't listen to the full 50 minutes again...unless I'm really drunk.
