All bullshit!!! Only making of Ads will not do. Most non-professional ISP. Being run by some kinda armatures or maybe some cobblers or carpenters are running it. Once something goes wrong with it there is no effective customer support. I wonder how can it continue to do business. Maybe it is due to lack of awareness in our country we take things as fate-accompli. I suggest all those who need a service may like to shift to other ISP ASAP.,

WiMax is world poor technology. Sold only to poor and neglected nations. It is full of flaws. Pakistan , New Zealand and African countries might invest in this technology.

Prime countries not invested in this flawfull technologies. It has more bads than goods with it.

Its a failed project and they are making countries like our to invest it.

This wateen winmax CPEI 300 mOTOROLA DEVICE IS A JUNK. THE FRANCHISERS ARE SELLING SUBSTABDARD ADAPTERS WITH THIS DEVICE AND THEY GO OUT OF ORDER WITHIN A WEEK AND WHEN U APPROACH THEM FOR REPLACEMENT, THEY BLAME MOTOROAL FOR THIS SUBSTANDARD AND ASK U TO BUY A NEW ONE.

yepp..the most stable internet i have seen in pakistan... contant speed and peace of mind :P

btw if you plan to get one, make sure their technical staff come to your place and get the satellite coordinates before you get it installed...becuz wateen is still expanding and there are some areas where the indoor service is available and some for outdoor...

so better check this before you plan...other than that...it beautifulllll :D

Wimax is a Metropolitan Area Network. It has nothing to do with SATELLITE and no SAT co-ordinates are required. Although Co-ordinates and bearing of the nearest base station is required. Wimax uses 2.5-2.69 GHz band frequency which is not being used by GSM networks. So, you don't need a new infrastructure as WiMAX uses GSM (Mobile Signal) towers.

it is 512 kbps unlimited usage/volume.. cost me around 18500 pkr 1 year subscrption and 1000 pkr installation charges.
