Very sobering video with some real world advice. I carry and was confronted several weeks ago by an intruder in my moms garage. I drew my weapon and literally had to beg the guy to come to his senses and drop the screwdriver he was threatening me with. Thank God I didn't have to shoot this fool. Been thinking about it ever since. Very un-nerving. Thanks for sharing....and if you ever get to Florida and want to catch some real fish send me a message. Thanks again for posting.
.u remind me of my father...but n e way i carry a Davis Industries .380 auto(fuck u haters minez works just fine) and a 7 inch switch blade..i got into a situation wer i was about tew b robbed..any person who would hav a gun in this situation would use it..i did not tho..after i was shot n the leg he tried tew run...a lucky throw with my knife hit him n is spine paralyzing him...i could hav easily shot him but its not always a good choice ta tak another life..no matter the situation..Peace n luv
I have to agree with you on the tactical vs street shootings. Real street shootings are very quick and very scary. You might be killed before you can even pull out your gun. And caliber, sights, all that stuff is not enough for the thugs.

Thank you for sharing your emotional story. It's difficult for some to come forward like you did and you have my respect. I always pray that ill only ever need to shoot any of my guns for practicing and target shooting. But I made my mind up years ago that I will use it to protect myself and my family if the situation arises. I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6. God bless and thanks!

The way you articulate is refreshing, maybe some of these anti's will notice this and see that we are not looking for trouble, we are actually law abiding citizens just trying to protect ourselves and our families. its pretty funny how certain politicians who support stricter gun control when they themselves have dozens if not a whole entire army of armed bodyguards.......that just shows that all those gun control and gun banning activists don't really care about the safety and self defence of the people but rather just their own celebrity (as in making themselves look like "peaceful" people in public)......

@MrGreatshot I have been carrying for almost a year and still don't feel comfortable carrying one in the chamber. I understand your point. Most of the time I am in low threat environments and think that I should be able to rack it if I need it. I have been training regularly and am almost at the point of carrying hot.
@freeze427 Your a smart guy for staying out of low threat places. However I do believe just the fact you have your CCW and you carry says your willing to shoot a bad guy if you have to. I also understand your point..just be confident in yourself and your need to stay alive.

In the times we live in, where kids are taught even by their teachers if they see a weapon STAY AWAY AND TELL AN ADULT, is all good and dandy but the best thing you can still do for your children is KNOWLEDGE and respect for firearms, loaded AND unloaded. I do my best to take my two boys, 10 and 3, out on a weekly basis and teach them about proper marksmanship and firearm safety the way I was tought 30 some years ago... THANK YOU GREAT VID!!!

In the times we live in, where kids are taught even by their teachers if they see a weapon STAY AWAY AND TELL AN ADULT, is all good and dandy but the best thing you can still do for your children is KNOWLEDGE and respect for firearms, loaded AND unloaded. I do my best to take my two boys, 10 and 3, out on a weekly basis and teach them about proper marksmanship and firearm safety the way I was tought 30 some years ago... THANK YOU GREAT VID!!!
