would someone involved with the punk movement in Van please respond. Dan where are you? Mr Harrison? what was the pre Rogers comm access channel called. what was that show that you used to do before. vids?
@NoisevillePoop The band were originally called the K-Tels, but a threatened law suit by K-Tel forced a name change to The Young Canadians. The video was shot using Phillips LDK25 studio cameras and recorded on Ampex 1200 VTRs. That cheesy "3D" effect was achieved by playing with the registration of the camera. The video was shot in studio 2 of CKVU Television...180 West Second Ave, Vancouver.
This is the video for "Automan".This is from 1979. Before videos were the norm. Hilarious seeing drummer Barry Taylor wearing a wig and mugging for the camera, and the others meandering around in the desk chairs. The band, for those who don't know, also included Jim Bescott ( R.I. P. ):bass, vocals, songwriting and Art Bergmann: guitar, vocals, songwriting. A CD of their material, with enlightening liner notes by Buck Cherry of The Modernettes, is are available through Sudden Death Records.
Soundproof?

Is some of this supposed to be 3D? And if so, does it work if you got some glasses?
