omg this is so interesting! i herd that sonic 3's music was worked on by Micheal Jackson, and that leads me to wonder if maybe Dynamite headdy's music was influenced by The Beatles, or maybe even worked on by one of the member's XD lol I don't know, but this is certainly fascinating =D
Jacko working on Sonic 3's soundtrack is correct, though he is uncredited at all times, he did indeed do some work on the songs for it. There are even some soundclips in some of the songs that resemble the classic Jackson "woooooo". The myth suggests that is Jacko himself. Which I think is quite cool, and quite likely.
@EmperorBubba It should be noted that most, if not all of the sound engineers on the game worked with MJ and his own music. Most of the songs on the game are probably highly arranged versions of MJ's. A few of the songs were replaced entirely on the PC release of Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Why else would they do a thing like that? Some songs on other Sonic games sound like MJ's music too, like my Shake Your Body mix for example. It's very interesting. =)
Was just playing the game, heard it myself, googled it, an sure enough...
