TNX for the review. How does the field of view, width wise, compare to the Flip? That seems to be one of the biggest complaints about the Flip. Although it's never been an issue for me.

Since JVC now has the FM2 out these are pretty inexpensive on-line. I like the time lapse record feature on the FM2, but not the price. I think I'll stay with my Flip, for now, and buy more ammo.

@bmwthebestofworld Because if you look at the quality of the videos then you can see how well the recordings go, this video may not be shiny lights and bells a blazing but the quality, both video and sound, is crisp enough. So just imaging how amazing it'd be uploading in 1080p :P

i do not like this .. the video comes out skipping. when i put it on my computer..its like watching a scratched dvd. the software it comes with is stupid. it doesnt allow me to save my pix to the program. i have to save it to my pc. separately..the pix go from 8mp to 2mp..now its stuck at 2mp.same with the video quality.. from 1080p-720..it really sucks

@freaknasty713 The video skipping (i think) is ur computers problem, not the camera. I film with the same camera,luv the video quality. Only thing i have against it is that there is no menu,and its not good with lighting at night time. But with proper lighting (at night, use a few lamps) your good to go. And the problem with it being stuck is that you can only use the left button to toggle between the video definition. I love the camera regardless. I cant ask for anything better at that price :)

with the flip and kodak the flip out usb is CRAP if it breaks its basiclaly a peace of platic containing all your memories becuase of the lack of a seperate usb import

Can ya help me gear? I got this cam yesterday for my birthday, & I already got 3 vids on it. But, it says in words I only got only 001/001 vids on it. & When I go to upload the vids on YouTube, it only says I got 1 in the file, too. Help please?

I echo the comment below. My iPhone ac to USB charger, works for any USB device I've tried so far. They're probably $10-20 in the States. I'm surprised that you only get 18 minutes on a 2gb card. I may need to rethink going to HD.

@Road360Rage actually that is kind of low because i have hd video on my computor and its about 3gigs for 1 hour of videos and 8 gigs for sd for 3-4 hours so it does seem a little low

I have an iPhone and I just use my iPhone charger for my camera since it's a USB wall charger.

dont know if youve thought about or if it doesnt matter to you but you can buy wall chargers that have usb so you can charge usb devices from the wall so like u dont have to charge at a pc

Yup I was thinking the same thing, we have quite a few of those, so if they work that would be great.

Are all of those USB chargers using the same wiring? no fear of shorting a device or battery?
