But the mestizo section is tough cuz I heard that the Mexican census won't label you as Indigenous unless you speak an indigenous language. And a lot of us are "Cholos" originaly meaning someone with more Indigenous ancestry than European.

@AryanBlade Actually Mexico is 60% mestizo, 30% Indigenous, and 9% white and 1% other. But the mestizo section is tough cuz I heard that the Mexican census won't label you as Indigenous unless you speak an indigenous language. Plus a big amount of the mestizo population is just urbanized Indigenous people who's ancestors abandoned their traditional culture. And a lot of us are "Cholos" originaly meaning someone with more Indigenous ancestry than European.
