CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME why Yohan Blake being the fastest qualifier for the 100M finals finals ends up in lane six and Dix in lane 4? I noticed this was a recurring theme throughout all the finals in Daegu...Money to buy medals but non for healthcare or R&D?
you look at bolt and see an almost alien like buff body and then you see the fastest white man of all time looking like a 12 year old boy. What make lemaitre so good? of course i mean in comparison to us other white guys.

@guitarron777 the human reaction time to react to the gun is at a minimum 150 milli seconds so the blocks that they use have presure triggers to tell if the runner leaves the blocks within 100 milli seconds of the block because it would be impossible for the human body to react that quick/
At 5:20 Blake flinched. That's what really caused the false start. Bolt was right next to him. Once the gun is up, no one is suppose to move.Tha judges missed it.. BTW, Walter Dix has been running his mouth about being able to beat Bolt,....well he needs to work on beating Bolt's protege' Yohan Blake first.

Not the medium distance, not the long distance, hurdles, field events etc. Nearly every meet, every world champs, etc some dude from the 100m rips his top off when he finishes the race, and struts like a peacock. How the false start happened - i guess his adrenaline and possibly a bit of nervousness kinda like tingled him and he just ran right as the gun shot
@ron126 (An athlete is considered false starting when he/she runs within .10 seconds of the gun firing and its .10 because brain tests have shown that humans cannot physically react to the start sound in .10 seconds, thus, the athlete actually started earlier than the gun. So yea. theres my explanation hope it helps :)

People says that they may hear the bullet sound before usain bolts takes off. but remember that a reaction time below 0.1 sec counts as a false start. the average reaction time for these guys are between 0.15 to 0.2 seconds.
i slowed the video down as good as my video editer can and i can still hear the bullet sound before he takes off. im still surprised that the referees didn't notice it. i think his response was much faster than other athletes. thumbs up if you think it was not a false start!!!

People says that they may hear the bullet sound before usain bolts takes off. but remember that a reaction time below 0.1 sec counts as a false start. the average reaction time for these guys are between 0.15 to 0.2 seconds.

i slowed the video down as good as my video editer can and i can still hear the bullet sound before he takes off. im still surprised that the referees didn't notice it. i think his response was much faster than other athletes. thumbs up if you think it was not a false start!!!
