  • this is glorious!

  • Amazing. And I mean AMAZING. Gotta admit it beats the SID music. A little, as the SID is a classic, but my God... It's great. :)

  • listen to "Trinity" from "Machinae Supremacy"...pretty awesome...same theme but more metal in there

  • Oh man, the first part of this melody is so stunning deep and cool :)

  • Awesome work :)

  • awesome...

it kind of proves the quality of the original composition

  • ja geil!! =)

  • This. Is. Pure. Win.

  • Smetana, Brahms and Liszt in a C64 game"s music. I loved this music, and this game, of course. :)

  • for those like me who loves Metal and Classical Music... to listen to this version and Machinae Supremacy's is magical...

  • @lagranputa666 Yes, absolutely! MaSu's version is technically and musically impressive.

I have a question though: Were they all C64 owners or they were just hired to play Hubbard's arrangements?

  • @SpiralPegasus I don't know if you're stilll online and read this right now, since it's been a year since your last post... but no... most of the musicians were not familiar with our work... but had to stick with Rob Hubbard's arrangements of this music piece I wrote when I was 17 years old... I was young, they were young... some remembered, but they are all young professionally trained musicians. They loved doing it. I met them all... at almost every performance... great people!

  • @freejaytea Yes, I'm still around! I'm always glad to hear what one of the men behind the magic has to say!

It's a shame really - you can tell they are professionals, but when you know a song by heart (specially memorable ones, such as Supremacy/Monty on the Run/Turbo Outrun/Robocop 3's title screen) and you bring it to life, playing it on a real instrument, you always put a bit more of yourself when you perform.

    Still, great performance!

Oh and... have you heard Machinae Supremacy's cover?

  • love.

  • Great, good sound quality! Thanks a lot!

  • Artists.

  • Yes!

  • That beginning brought tears to my eyes. Wonderful!

  • wonderful!!

  • Goosebumps.....

In some parts remembers Joe Hisaishi's music

  • Wow, that is a terrific adaptation! I've never even heard of the C64 Orchestra before.

  • Wow...

    This is for sure awesome!!!

  • One word: great!

  • nice to hear the music done by a real orchestra, like it was supposed to be. Very nice.
