i also heard the program about french canadians hiding as something people called zombies during the war. I think the called brought it up and Lowell sort of agreed with him. Anyway, yes it's true he makes these kinds of comments on his show and I'm not a CFRA listerner any more because of him.

my francophone grandmother from montreal lost 3 sons in the WWII. Two who were put on the front lines and drowned before even making it to landing on french soil. One other son a merchant marine, was declared lost. Lowell Green calls french canadians zombies because he says they hid during the war. I find this so offensive as to qualify as hate speech considering the sacrifice made by so many french canadians for the British. Green has also been CRTC reprimanded for his hatred of muslims.

I'm a Christian. I have worn a crucifix around my neck for many years. My belief is peace and civility. I own guns, have a wife and am an artilleryman. Religion does not motivate me to kill innocents. I hate fanatic Christans just as much. And extremist islamics and all others who would kill for their 'God'.

@syevie listen there is no doubt that many many french canadians fought well and hard and scarificed much in the name of Canada. They are as honoured if not more so than the anglophones however, Lowell discredits "French Canada" NOT French Canadians for their resistance to answer the call during the world wars and he is right for doing so.

my name is lowell green. today I saw a plant that was growing out of the sidewalk. I was horrified because it reminded me of that documentary I saw where a guy raised a small plant in his shop and it got too big and eventually starting eating people! luckily I had my saw with me (the one I normally used to dismember homeless people). now pedestrians can see 100% of the concrete rather than just 99.9% of it. This is important to me because I'm mentally ill. Please tune into to my radio show
