@hounddog39 Not sure exactly what your definition of "talent" is. But I will say this, record sales are not necessarily indicitive of a person's vocal abilities. Elvis was, no doubt, a larger-than-life figure for his time. That equated to his record sales. He was more an entertainer than vocalist. I could run off quite a few names of those who sold albums but had shitty voices (Bob Dylan, Paula Abdul, Jimi Hendrix).

REST OUR LOVE. Thew most generous and Loving man who ever Lived. He was gracious genrous kind gentle and a Gentleman . He never met a stranger and invited all to his home. He did have to stop this practise after he became so famous . I Loved watching him on his horse. He once bought the smallest pony in the world at the time and secretly flew to Ohio where a gentleman out in the country had scheduled an appointment with ELVIS to come and get the pony if he wanted it.. Its so sad to see a man deteriorate right in front of your eyes, this man was the luckiest guy around with his incredible looks, charisma, talent and to top it off the most gentlest and humblest human being you could ever meet. Did you know Elvis was the highest tax payer in 1973, he gave to every charity that was going, gave out money and cars to people who he didn't even know and owed his whole career to his fans which he loved dearly (and he never let them down!)

Visited Elvis's old crypt this week in Memphis. It was like something out of an old horror movie. The mausoleum was very creepy and run down. Hard to believe that this is where Elvis ended up. Thank God that he was moved to Graceland.

Thank you for sharing this with the few that may see it. It does bring some closure because the picture of him in the casket dosen't look like ELVIS. ELVIS did have a more prominant nose and there were several thuing that family has written that makes us want to believe he is alive . I don't know if he is Be Happy Baby. Hugs Bobbie
