i agree with spooner07troy. im in the sound and the troy concert band and its all about the music and how good we sound... and college marching bands rarely ever form difficult drills like high school bands do... we don't compete like spooner said so we make the music amazing and make somewhat simple yet really enjoyable drills... so sit back and enjoy the amazingness of troy, the TRUE sound of the south

my high schools band directors came were in the Troy Band... Mr. Ganious ->trumpet Mr. Skeen ->percussion...

and also..i know Tabitha whos on guard ...and one of our Saxaphones (alicia) is there now ^.^

I was at this as well.... Man that was a great competition!!! Go George County! (I WAS the trumpet soloist for GC if someone has the dvd of this comp.) And I also will be transfering to Troy after next year!!

This is good for a college band... but you don't need to put it up against a high school band... and I don't see anything but bunch of people moving in order to make a real picture.. they are just moving in a random design...

They weren't competing against mgm's band if that's what you think. The were just the entertainment at the end of the show.

uumm... you dont know much about troy... or possibly band at all...(yes i'm a troy student) see.. we do exhibitions...ever heard of those?? and the drill isnt always supposed to be pictures.. ive been marching since 9th grade... and i STILL havent marched in what was supposed to be a shape of any kind..why are you critiquing this so much? just sit back and relax.. enjoy the music... thats all it is.... MUSIC.. enjoy it... youll get much more out of life if you just appreciate hard work...
