  • So refreshing to see Great Magic on you tube that unfortunately is loaded with slightly practiced and really poor performances of tricks . As bad as those performances are for the art there are always those who perform real magic and let there audience remember what real magic feels like. Well done!!

  • I'm watching this in 2011 ... you must be even more amazing now!!!

  • Great palming!!!

  • i shall now hug you

  • Thats sooooooo pro! PLEASE make a reveale to this video!!!! your better than expert village! :D

  • Fantastic job sir. By far some of the best slight of hand I have ever seen. Smoother and slower then Roth. And I always use "Slow and Steady wins the race" for my motto.

  • Always a pleasure to view your video here again. I'm attaching a couple of my own closeup street-magic routines so you can see what I'm doing in this niche. I won't horn in for long, and I hope you'll enjoy the show. Best regards to a real pro.

  • I've considered myself a "Coin Man" for years and I do appreciate the time and efford you've put behind one of David Roth best routines. Very nicely done. Tank you for posting it.

  • Nice job!

That's one of my favorite box routines.

  • is palming required?

  • Great work! Very smooth and I love your spider vanishes. Quite convincing.

  • nice work! is this a david roth routine? i used to do something similar back in the day and i think this was the routine i based it on. i could be wrong.

  • I think I know this. I think that must be boston coin box... Same routine...

  • YOUR AMAZING! I love this!

  • love the use of a simple sleight with a mix of your fancy ones (near the end)

  • Very smooth routine, much like Roth's but with a couple of genuine improvements. I particularly like your economy of motion when producing the third coin from the box. Also, your patter is excellent. I'm using your routine to help me polish off some rough edges on my own slot-box act, which I perform as part of my street show, and which I've been doing for more than five years. There's always somebody doing something better -- and that's you.

  • Thanks for the kind words.

  • @RoscoesRiffs where do you do your show? i did a street show myself for about 10 years in vancouver. i miss it.

  • If you are not pro, you could be.

    Outstanding performance.

Are you a member of the I.B.M?

  • I was a member of the I.B.M yes. but have not been involved for a while now. Thanks for the Pro. Compliment. Cheers PT

  • pls can u reveal it and is it worth buying

  • Where did u learned the first vanish? in bobo?

  • No. I picked it up on David Roths video with coin boxes.

  • Thank you so very much for uploading your very smooth, and beautiful little routine. I am a newbie, and there are so many essentials that I will be able to learn by watching it.

  • Man I have an okito coin box and I would love to learn a routine like this...It seems the only thing that I know is a penetration with the box an the coins....

  • I enjoyed this a lot, and makes me reconsider getting a slot box!

  • very good handleing

    well done trick! ^-^

  • this is the best okito routine i have ever seen,

  • Very nice moves. Great box handling.

I really like this box routine. 5/5

    M

  • Thank you.

  • There are a few variations of the Okito coin box but they all basically look the same. The first one came out in 1909! Some have a slight recess on the bottom with a magnet to accept a steel shimmed coin. Its only limitations are by how adept one is at coin manipulation. This particular trick is by NO means self working and takes a LOT of practice. I personally thought he did a great job with this routine.

  • Thanks for the comment. Yes there is lots of practice for this routine.

  • I thought there's gutter on the bottom of coin box.Sorry I did misunderstand.

I've never seen this type of technique.

It's real Miracle only by practice.

"Is there a name of this type coin box?"

Jeez! He said at the beginning what it was! Its an Okito coin box and it will not do you any good unless you have years of experience with coin manipulation.

  • Great routine, I responded with one of my own (not as good as this, but check it and let me know what you think. I also like the fact that you're sleeved. sometimes I feel like an outcast in magic because of my hands. there are not many heavily tattooed magicians of notable skill. again, great routine and great video!

  • Thanks Man. Ya you dont see much Magicians with Tats now a days. Good work on you Vids also. Keep in touch Cheers PT

  • great performance of slight of hand on steroids... wow!

  • Very good performance and routine.

  • Awesome performance.Perfectly performed coin vanishes.I think I'm going to buy that box,I know how it works.

    Awesome video.Keep going.

  • Very nice :-)

Agree that the patter (for me anyway...), is a little too "descriptive", however, the routine is smooth and very well presented. Nice.

    Bruce

  • Thanks for the input. Every little bit helps. Cheers.

  • It's a New kito box :P

  • Fantastic! I also am an Amatuer magician, and would be absolutely delighted to have even a quarter of your skill. You make all the moves look easy. Can't fault you at all. Even Mr Roth himself couldnt do it any better. And he is the master!

  • I'm an amature coin worker and I've been debating on buying an Okito coin box over the last few days...

...but after seeing your beautiful routine, I ordered one immediately.

This is probably one of the best coin routines I've seen on YouTube lately -- every slight was extremely clean and smooth with precise execution.

  • beautiful job.

  • Fantastic ! I admit it has been handled with expert timing !! A+

  • Wow, that was great handling! Very nice. Very smooth. =]

  • i saw all you movements lol nice work though

  • Well if you know the trick, you will recognize the mouvments ofcorse, but you have to admit that the whole display of his permormance is real NEAT !!! Thats a mint demo, i loved it !!

  • yeah a little slydini ;)

  • Excellent work my friend. I do a routine similar to this without the box (just my hands and the table a-la coins through table) but the sounds always get my juices going!

    -Streeter

  • Thanks for the compliment pal. I love this routine and very happy when people enjoy watching. Hope to load some more soon.

  • Great job on Roth's routine. The okito title is a little misleading for those in the know, but its all within good reason. Good job, keep it up.

  • amazing routine great handling! 5/5

  • Thanks for the comment. Its Always nice to get positive responces. Cheers PT

  • very nice job.

and simply presented, as it should be

    karl

  • shit, your good... i can do many things with the okito, but not as smoothly as you.

  • wow nice one lool

  • What a great routine, I can't wait to get Roth's work on coin boxes.

  • Magnificent.

  • Sound of coin is very beautiful! Could you teach me what kind coins are you using ?

  • technique beautiful - in particular I love your handling of the feint vanish - very smooth. the patter is too descriptive of what you're doing - unnecessary and actually takes away from your great work

  • great false transfers

  • fuck that guys good

  • awsome matey :)

  • hey i got this trick but i put it to the side cause i didn't like it, now im going to get it out. The way you present it is great.how long you been doin magic?

  • I have been doing magic for around 20 yrs but only 7 yrs with the okito box. Thanks for the comment and good luck with the magic. Practice makes perfect.

  • Beautiful work. The retention pass was nicely done and the whole presentation was smooth. Bravo.

  • very nice...you caught me out with the false transfers hahaha
