Just saying I like the intro in Crysis 2 when it does the close up view of the suit and when it shows the powers activating, but when it shows the powers in action I like how they did it in Crysis 1.

Anyways, the reason why the suit turns red is because the cells that go into his body are red, causing his suit to turn red.

Red = strength mode

Pulsing Yellow = Speed mode

Purple/Gray = Armor mode

Invisible/Pulsing Electric Blue = Cloak Mode

They havent shown the cloak mode in the trailer but its ingame allright. Allows u to sneak up on people and whack their brains out without anyone noticing.

Judging by how the armor is denting with the bullets, it seems similar to standard body armor. It's not perfect, as the impact of the bullet can still cause injury, bruising or worse.

That's something I've been trying to tell to one of my friends, crysis is nice, but the reality factor is nill. The suit waves when a bullet crashes, that means the skin get' all the impact, no realism... I think the amkers of crysis shoudl brush up on their physics...

Since the suit is advanced enough to have a cloaking system, they should've had the system's power supply generate a shield instead, similar to Halo or Metroid.

I was thinking more along the lines of a thin barrier that wrapped around the suit. Then all they'd have to do is make the character model glow.

Glowing all the time issn't nesessary, only when a bullet connects... Or when you fall off a cliff...

That's what I meant. Obviously, having the barrier on all the time would constantly drain the suit's power supply, which it doesn't. It only drains when hit, so projecting a barrier in response to a threat would be more realistic.
