What a wonderful project! Almost wish you could show some footage from the actual event.
I have a feeling that the film doesn't do the abalone glaze justice. Does it go kind of mother-of-pearl-like? Care to share the recipe? :-)

thanks for the compliment! all the glazes are mixed per reciepe and dipped 2 seconds max. fired to cone 10 with heavy reduction at around 1800 F. The glazes really do cover and lay down nicely, thanks again for your response!
