@benwars2000 ok well first you need to chain by using the pokeradar

to chain is to get the same pokemon repetedly when using pokeradar

after you get the same pokemon in a row 40 times you use the pokeradar again if a patch sparkles instead of shaking it is a shiny

Hmm, Something odd I've noticed. On a bunch of other shiny pokemon videos, they've gotten a shiny pokemon on chain 40. Maybe every 40 chains you find a shiny patch?

I was chaining Voltorb one day and got to a chain of 66 then it broke.

But for some reason, I didn't reset my radar and didn't catch ANY shiny pokemon that day!!!!!!!!! I was such a retard moment.

It's actually way too easy to get shiny pokemon now. I freaking hate it. It's supposed to be something extremely rare. But now you can change the odds. It's just not meaningful now.

Something really weird happened while I was chaining Voltorb. I was resetting the Pokeradar and after resetting it, 2 shiny patches appeared at the SAME time!

theres alot of skill involved as well, it pretty hard at times. the pokemon you have at the front of your party needs the ability static, it will increase your chance of seeing the same pokemon.
