How could someone dislike this video? Those men and their generation sacrificed themselves for our freedom, otherwise god knows what Language or Culture we'd be shoving up our asses with today. If you are one of those Anti-American dick sucking fagglestick then get the FUCK out.
@Blake385 He didn't have the time or supplies to develop the photos while on the island, so he sent the negatives home. He didn't actually see the finished product until he saw it in a newspaper.
To those who ever served, who ever wore US military uniform, those who made this nation great, and to those who will serve in the future so that this nation may persevere, THANK YOU!
Our grandfathers were the best generation of Americans. They were hardworking, honest, and sincere. Their sacrifices made America the greatest country in the world.
Today America is dominated by a whole generation of Ann Coulters. They're all heartless, ruthless, and self-centered. It's because of these young hardnosed skankies that our country is falling apart.
Raising a flag don't make you a hero. And neither does shooting and killing someone. But because all those men fought for our country, laid there lives for our freedom today, and because they put their buddies' lives before their own, those men became real Heroes...
@camman44 He died at the age of 54 year 1979 and had a hard time to fit in again after the war. Many different jobs and some periods of no jobs at all. He was the child of an frence-canadian immigrant in the USA and was called into the marine when he was 18 years old. Iwo Jima was his first battle, he went onto shore the 19th februari 1945. If you do not belive me, ask your dad or someone. I have read about him actually. The things I wrote is what It said. God bless you, and your family.
Let us honor all that have died whether it was from the Axis or Aliies, Civillinas or Goverment officials.... Everyone is human and they all fought for what they thought was right.... God bless all those who have fallen in war.
It's about America, but i think the Flag that's there now, is deticated to the Marines who fought and died on the island, and the guys that made it home, it's sad, our Heroes are gone now...
all these men.... are dead.. Franklin Sousley, Harlon Block, and Michael Strank, were dead before the picture got to public hands, Ira Hayes, John "Doc" Bradly, and Rene Gagnon, were the only ones who made it back home, to tell the story for the war bonds, everyone who fought on Iwo Jima, and can't forget Ignitowski, are all heroes! God bless them, and God bless America!
"As we celebrate our nation's Independence this 4th of July, let us not forget those who have died for our freedom and those who continue to fight today to keep us free. Thank you to all of you - in and out of uniform, past and present - who sacrifice so much so that we can be free in this country that we love. Happy 235th Birthday America!" My father witnessed both flags raised and lived to tell, they truly were the Greatest Generation. Happy 4th of July!
that picture wasent suppose to be taken until the flag rose all the way bhut the camera man mestakingly toke when it was rising but now that is a big part of us history
Warriors are born from loyalty, love of neighbor and country, and a desire to protect and safeguard. Their actions are precise, principled, determined and comitted to act selflessly for the benefit of others.
Time is running out. Research intensely on the Illuminati & you will be able to see who your TRUE enemies are, & know who you're really dying for.
Throw out all your history books, they are useless, as they've been completely distorted by the Illuminati. Just as the controlled mass media have been deceiving you.
They are rapidly dismantling the constitution & when it is gone, so is America & it's freedom
Who else tried to pause it so it looked like the photo?

@taylors1mexican As Stephen Hawking once said, without imperfection, neither you or I would exist.
And because that cameraman made a mistake, our proud tradition will carry on. something about the flag at an angle is much more inspiring.
