I love my 328i. Only mod is a Signature Motoring performance intake kit. They run around $170 and add up to 9HP in the E46 323/325/328 and up to 13.9HP in the 330. That's about $17/per extra HP... A good value for the extra oomph. General HP increases are shown:

E30 series: 6.0-13.4hp gain

E36 series: 5.5-12hp gain

E46 series: 6.0-13.9hp gain

E92 series: 8.5+ hp gain

Z3/Z4 (all): 5.5-13.9hp gain

BMW made the M3 different from all the other E46's for a reason. Although I think the work put in was amazing and I'm sure was a lot of hard work and money. I would feel like a complete ass driving a 330Ci that was reversed engineered to look like a M3. Look under the bonnet and it's still the M54B30.

i agree the roof lining and side trims have to go black and while you were spraying it i wouls of took the chrome trims that run around the windows they are easy to remove and make sangind and polishin alot easyer. i have have 3 e46 bmws i love them one was a 2001 325 coupe a 323 v reg coupe and a 318 saloon all 3 i resprayed i agree for the money you spent you could of just bought a real m3 but it may be a case of getting insured and running coast of the m3 looks nice though

Mod or restore a classic car yea, but modding a 330i to a M3 is just a joke becoz u can pickup the real thing for much less. Plus, it won't go any fast, probably much slower.

How one spends their money is not something I can comment on, but this type of mod just makes zero sense except for the tuner that is.

the prep work on this car is awful proberly no wonder you used primer and alot ov guidecoating on it shit repairs bet it took too long to finish this project althouh i do like the paint side just noticed a patch of topstop in a big patch of filler so wrong look hollow as fuck when sanded i can see that car having polyester filler all over it to cover the hollow spots

con todo el respeto que me parece su labor. era mas facil vender o cambiar el 330 por un M3 e46 original de un año no muy reciente para q el precio bajara, ya teniendolo lo repintabas y ya. creo gastaron mas en la mano de obra en las partes , en el trabajo a mano en la pintura en las vestiduras de color , y sin obtener la potencia de ese motor que revoliciona como loco y tine un gran torque. creo salia mas barato en fin.... gustos de cada quien

mm kind of stupid, if you sell your 330i wich looked in great condition and add a few thousand pounds you can trade it for an M3 and save all the money doing that useless convertion plus the parts plus the paint job plus the labour hand made I thnk it costed more than he would've paid in the trade. plus you get the powerfull 340 BHP engine and not only the looks

Ya puestos le hubiera puesto las llantas tipo csl o mismamente las evo 19 que tienen parabola las traseras y lo hace mas gordo,por otra parte los escapes no estan bien hechos,cantan mucho.Otro defecto es los marcos cromados ,en los m3 son negros.El color para mi gusto no es el mas adecuado.

Pero la verdad es que tiene su curro,enhorabuena.
