This was a Gen2 Traction elevator, this was a very nice lift made by Otis thaqt I have seen. I don't like the way the other Otis lift designs have where the 2 Flourecent Lights eatherside of the display are really anoying because the lights are to bright to see the display.

Hehe, I w2as terrified of lifts, my first lift ride was at the docklands museum in London. I filmed it and put it on youtube as my firstever video. Now I go in them with out even caring LOL. Great comment.

I hate that hospital, my mum was in there last year. They have had so much rubbish happening there, even a bloody hiv scare because a nurse was tested positive.

On the day of my mums operation I went with her, while we were waiting they first got her name completely wrong. Wrong files at her bed, then once she got her real files back my mum was looking at them an they said she as 10 years older than she actually is in one of the letters. Then the guy who was to operate of her asked her what she was in for, then was shocked when she told him, as he didn't realise what had two operations at once. Hell house that place is.

It is just telling you the information about the elevator like it is a GEN2 and how much weigt it can carry and when it was installed "sometimes"

Well what I can make out it says

"AN INTRODUCTION LOGO SYSTEM IS IN UTE.PLEASE SWITCH TO THE T PROTECTION" but I can't think of another word for the PROTECTION word because it has PO at the begginging not PR so I don't know what the last word is

It means an induction Loop system is in operation, switch to the T position on your hearing aid to hear the person speak easier

They are different in america because the Americans with Disabilities Act is much Stricter than the DDA (disability discrimination act)

they're standard british fare. some have a LCD display showing the floor. One near me has both indicators, but the LCD one also shows the direction!
