This monster is parading herself around on her own facebook page under her REAl name acting as if she is such a loving and wonderful person....she has friends on there who undoubtedly has no clue what she is capible of! It's quite discusting...take a look.

Had DSS paid attention to the school reports, therapists reports, police reports, and Aunt Heather's reports of black eyes that were unexplainable, Kayla would be alive.

Had the investigators treated the home like a crime scene and collected evidence, interviewed the two boys living in the same home, and interview the father living in the home, an ounce of truth may have been enough to put her away for life.

Anyone ever figure out who was the soccer mom on the jury?

As if anyone could do that to a child.. and then be set free to do it again on top of it. No person would keep drinking the poison after an initial taste.. child or not. This little girls life was ended so abruptly and violently. There has been no justice in this case, as there is no justice in our law systems anymore. Just a bunch of monkey's only looking for a personal gain. Can you imagine yourself being Futrell's lawyer? Defending a child murderer ensuring that she get's back on the streets?

Her attorneyS, which I would like to know how she was appointed legal counsel since she is not indigent, are known for taking the high profile cases, such as cop killers and capital murder cases. Is it any wonder that one of her attorneys called the judge and ADA, drunk as a skunk, the night before the hearing to release Futrell?

Judge Henry stepped down; instead of giving them a public sanction, and Lanier assured Carolyn Futrell that the community could raise the money!~ SICK!~

They set a child murderer free! I am sickened and there was more than enough evidence proving she was guilty of murder I-NOT involuntary manslaughter.

I just don't understand how this can be, but it is what it is. Carolyn should NEVER be allowed around another child for the rest of her life in mine and many others opinions, but apparently the jury didn't see it that way. Sad.

I still want to know who was the single juror that caused the 11 other jurors to go with Involuntary Manslaughter.

When I had to leave NC, the jury was hung at 11-1.

They gave a whole six hours to decide whether this monster intentionally poisoned Kayla, or if it was Involuntary!~

I wish she would have received what she deserved, and can only hope that Karma will bite her in the arse!~

Yes. This is final. The jury was not allowed to know a lot of evidence because a very frightened little girl recanted. Her recanting did not remove the visible bruising covering her body!! Nor did her recanting prevent teachers from reporting black eyes, and questionable bruising, wherein Kayla begged them not to tell "Mommy Dearest."

Imagine finding your child face down in their own vomit and blood; then call your friend; then drive to the church to get another friend; leaving Kayla's lifeless body lying in the doorway to the hall!

What about dialing 911????
