this game is better the forgotten sands which was rushed because of the stupid movie. atleast you don't button mash in combat like you do in forgotten sands.But the thing that is bad about this game is the repetitiveness. And the ending isnt strong enough like sot.If they make a squeal they better add warrior within combat mechanics since you have a gaunlet. This game has the best platforming.

this game is my favorite of the series first off this is completely different game from the sands of time trilogy so it wouldnt be fair to compare them 2nd even though you CANT DIE its way easier than dying looking at the full-of-denial you died screen then pressing retry and restarting at a certain checkpoint unlike here which elika will bring you to the last flat platform that you were on way efficient than dying im sorry this wasnt the MW3 that you were expecting

okay i love this game but i think i like old prince of persia better i mean 1v1 is good but i really like the other one better where the fights were quick but there were more fights over all... and u have to quickly react differently to different types of monsters, and the past tht i didnt like the most was its crazy with npc player... i rather have a friend playing part of the girl cuz the npc doesnt do as u need them to do + they die and do stupid things <.< like in sands of times and more 4/5

I know what you mean. I am a huge fan of the series and I am excited for this game. Prince of persia has not always been as we remember and they want to go in a new direction but still keep alot of the elements. In the old version it felt like you were overpowered. I think the feeling that you are fighting something on your level is going to make you think rather than use the same cheap moves over and over again.

Look at the style of gameplay: "Prince Of Persia" or maybe even "DOA" to "SC4" This game is really a combo of all of those if you think about it in retrospect.

Im sure that regular thugs you encounter will be old school Prince..find a creep in an ally attack and move on...these look like boss battles. Plus your still getting all the regular acrobatics. Games looks good too so Im sure it will be a hit.

In my opinion? A step in the wrong direction.

They should take a look at Ninja Gaiden to see how combat should be handled. Stopping us from using our acrobatic moves in combat? That just isn't on. Just because the Prince is staring down a foe doesn't mean he should be paralysed. Ryu Hayabusa kept all of his acrobatic skills when it came to fighting.

I don't think that the platforming and fighting should be so clearly divided, even changing the way the Prince handles. Hopefully it's done well.
