This is not fake, its an actual training mishap that happened on a Rocket Range in Quebec. These thigs happen. The Eryx, made in France, is a very effective anti-armour missile but like any other weapon system it will fail from time to time, NO FAULT of the soldiers who use them, its just a fact of life.

The Javelin fails sometimes too and that doesn't mean US soldiers are incompetent either.

This video might be fake. First off, the clip cuts at 30 seconds to another clip and the lighting is different. MAYBE the editor could have cut off a long talking speech. But second, the gun could also be a replica because if you study it a bit, it's different.

True, it's a FrencBritish designed missile. It proved quite efficient in actual combat against Soviet-made tanks, 10 years ago in the hands of well-trained soldiers (French marines).
