We don't plan to offer a Folding or Console-Mounted Flats-Top in the near future. The standard Rigid, Poling-Platform-Mounted Flats-Top provides shade for 2 people, can be used at speed and can be removed in about 5 minutes.
We do have a new mounting system coming (Sep 2011), and some other options to mount to it in the fall, so STAY TUNED ...

We're building the Poling-Platform mounted Flats-Top in 2010,and still working on the Console-Mounted design for 2011.

Ruth Ann and I like the Poling Flatop model. Seens like more it makes more usable room in the boat.
