Quit trollin. Raccoons are about as far from a rat as a Maine Coon cat or Jack Russell Terrier. They're pretty much a hilarious combination of cat+dog.

I know they look cute now when they're young, but these are highly destructive animals. And they carry diseases, most notably rabies, but even more commonly roundworm.
Did they survive long? You have to feed them KMR or equal quality milk replacer and rub their genitalia/digestive tract to make them defecate/urinate. If you don't do this, they will usually figure out how to do it themselves but sometimes they die due to the pressure and resulting occurrences.

@valaurwen Personally I wouldn't have rescued them. Raccoons are basically overgrown rats anyway.
