Hey there, this is ducttapeandzipties. I was going to donate you a dollar. Till you annoyed the hell out of me by putting an ad at the end of every clip.
Considering that, that's what people are up against. The own the financial system, the housing market, the own the Propaganda Model (or "The Media"), the have investment power to have private control over world raw resources, and so on. Since they own such a high level of infrastructure in the society (nearly all), the laws are always constructed to benefit them and allow them to remain in power. By law and in principle of those laws they create. Keep fighting and educating out there!!
@Bodhidharma1986 Don't forget the fact that our politics and decision making in D.C. is all up to the lobbyists from private corporations who sway government hands. If it were anybody else aside from our rich oppressors, they'd be thrown in jail. The top 1-2% in our economy make a profit off our misery and back breaking labor, why would they want to give that up luxury up for them and their families so everyone else could be happy? That's why they try to demonize socialism every chance they get.
@EternalSage07 Sure. Part of the "Containment Policy" instilled by Wilson during the first Red Scare here, after the fall of the Czar, in 1918. Then, that followed throughout the 50s and into the Cold war to the 90s. The constant threat of "Communism" in US planning documents. No matter what movement you're a part of (anarchist, socialist, communist, utopianist, whatever), the State planners and corporate structures always referred to free-thought and general concern for others as "Communism".
@Bodhidharma1986 Couldn't have worded it better myself. They only allow so many characters into one post though so it's difficult to construct what I really have to say into one coherent thought. Oh well, it's all here in this documentary. Plenty of instances of the general populace's very well-being being taken away by corporations and their enablers within the U.S. government. Wish people would open their hearts and minds to thought that nobody is going to save us, we must do it ourselves.
Societies differ, but in The US (and other countries that are state-capitalist with corporate infrastructure) decisions that are made regarding investment, production, distribution, trade, and so on are in the hands of nothing but corporations. They staff the high Executive positions in the government (the White House, President, so on) and they own The Media as well. Therefore, because they staff policymakers that make their laws, they have to always be in a position to make all the decisions.

If the common man wants to own his own Government, he must pay the TAX BILL. For whomever ends up paying the bills , gets the power in his lap. So the Far Left wants to tax the rich and then what ? The Rich lobby the Government until those who pay the Taxes are telling the Politicians what to do, and then it is Anarchy and a war against the Corporate State ? You asked for it, if you want Freedom, it is not free, you must pay the Taxes and then you own the government. HYPOCRITES.
@ExaggeratedCool Corporate America is a clique of Consumers and Manufacturers. Why should some other agency rule over their affairs ? A matter a Law ? We have the Courts, but can the Judge make an automobile, ? Can the President make an airplane ? Government cannot make anything, they are paper pushers and no workers of metal and iron. Corporate America is about actually making things and all else is just about TALK TALK TALK. That is why Russia failed, Talk does nothing
@CarmineFragione To call a corporation a "clique" HIGHLY underplays its power in controlling what the government does. As I said before, the corporations have the money, and because they have the money the government feels the need to rely on them. Because they must rely on these companies for money these companies are able to 'get by' with doing shady/illegal acts without being punished. That's a problem. Money may buy freedom, but it shouldn't be able to buy freedom of the law.
@ExaggeratedCool you have your choice of the Soviet Bund , that didn't work out, or the Nazi Fascist State and that did not work out. So why in the world you attack Wall Street ? Anyone can invest in stocks, and anyone can get off their ass and go to work. But some people think they can steal the other guy's thunder, with a magical trick of politics, You better get your head straight, " To the Victors belongs the Spoils" And it ought to be the people who made the business !
@CarmineFragione That argument is such a false analogy. You can't compare a government job to a private business job because they have different purposes. Government exists to provide infrastructure and to create, pass and enforce laws wherever appropriate.
The problem is mainly the fact that we've got corrupt government allowing the large corporations, which exists solely to turn a profit, to do whatever they want via the 14th amendment, deny people of our rights and now $ trumps justice.
Oh yes, there's a new bigotry being enforced in this country and it isn't the masses picking on poor minority corporations, or those of racial segregation in the South. It's our rich slave drivers whipping the backs of the middle class into submission and having government impose unfair advantage to greedy CEOs so much that the employees (ya know, the people who are doing the actual work) can barely afford to feed our families and pay for utilities in the same month.
@EternalSage07 Tacitus wrote " the more numerous the laws, the more corrupt the state" If you have no talent, the government cannot supply you with a life. A good government is when the people are superior and could exist without a government. The government that governs the least , governs the best. In the free market, you vote with your pocketbook. If you want an example, the government put out billions for green jobs and all the money went from your pocket to others
@CarmineFragione Its not a matter of ruling over their affairs as it is making sure they are not committing illegal acts. The men and woman who run corporations don't know anything about the trades that are involved in making, or creating their product. Just like those who work for the government they are paper pushers, they work in high rises and offices, they aren't the ones welding and working in the factories. Talk is what gets laws passed, and so does money....corporations have have money.
If this is the best the far left can do , they haven't much of a future. When the Government owns the means of production it is called a Monopoly. It is all about who is wearing what hat. But to imply common people would have control of their government if the government owned the means of production, that is a failed theory. "Power corrupts and absolute Power corrupts absolutely." If the common people want to own their government, they must pay the taxes, not the rich.
guilt by association is propaganda crap, and truth is about cause and effect. The concept of condemning the Corporations , outside of the reason they exist, that is to drive the market economy with products people want to buy, is then propaganda and is worthless drivel in the real free market place of ideas. Some conspiracy that has no prosecution and judicial findings, does not prove any points about whether corporations are innately good or evil it only means someone is envious of them.
Mark Akbar is a corporate shill just like the companies he is demonizing in this documentary. The simple fact he went to Michael Moore for a sound bit proves that this documentary is slanted. Mr. Akbar sucks donkey dick!
well an irony on top of an irony is that they are using a corporation to spread the word against corporations, kind of like using their own weapons against them.
@markolyshko Agreed - and what is more, there is more ranting in the Bible against greed and exploitation of the poor and disenfranchised by wealthy power brokers than in almost any ancient collection of documents. But with enough time and money you can make people read "white" when the text says "black" and "good" when the text says "evil."
Is this why the segments keep getting shorter & shorter? So that the Akbar thing comes on more & more frequently twds the end of the series? That is Playbook Commercial-Advertising Strategy [as become an insanity all by itself on commercial t.v. progamming!] BLAGH! />_<\\
@evernetherall The segments are of random length depending on where there's a good place to stop. What are you whining about, you're getting it for free.
FYI no one is "WHINING!" You don't have to get nasty about it. I have a right to my thoughts and wasn't writing to YOU, so unless you have something constructive to say about the upload itself then keep pissin' on your OWN boots, "BigShot! Pee Yew!
They eventually succeeded. I hope you guys all know that. Corporations do run our government now. Not on a local scale but on a federal level. They control the means of information in this society, therefore, they control the government. Even if they wanted to, they could delete this message, or put out a news cast calling anyone crazy who thought this way, and how would you know that there are many other NOT in a minority that think the same.
Old fascism failed because there were too many signs, it was too visible. Now, even if there are no visible flags or signs, it doesn`t mean that fascism/dictatorship is over.
@Valdris1987 They suppressed opposition with force, now the boundaries aren't physical but psychological. It's all propaganda, sensationalism and consumerism instead of the KGB or SS.
So funny, the ad that youtube put on this video just now was an ad to for a company that helps you incorporate .... lmao.... If this is isn't irony then i don't know what is... lmao
FDR: "Government by organised money is just as dangerous as government by organised mobs." Why can't we get a leader like this when this statement is more true than ever?
I think the scariest and most atrocious thing about the whole situation, is that the vast majority of the public is ok with what is happening to the world. It is as if Americans and people in general crave ignorance. Stupidity is the sancuary in which they will hide until the death throws of civilization tears it down. How can the few enlightened fight against the sea of those who crave to be domineered. I am 19 years onld and dont see much hope for the world
@rudley0innapropriate You really can't, cause the second that you start to form a resistance, they will shoot out a bullentin on you labeling you as a terrorist. Thats the whole point of depotism. Its even more saturated by the advances in technology. They control the transmission, literally. And the point about being a minority, most likely isn't true. think about it, where or who did you get the information from that told you that was true?
@shazzbot007 you to understand thatthe federal reserve is a private bank and it has stocks and i have read the law in federal reserve acted that sayes that selling and buying stock from it are not taxable. Its a serect who owns them but i reliable person told me that all the banks that got bailed out own the federal reserve system. If they own them oviously they will get bailed out. If there is another crisist today they will get bailed out again.
@shazzbot007 Yes, that's clear. And what's also clear is that we have a specific law regarding treason. In fact, I think it's a part of the constitution. The Wallstreet gangsters didn't violate any specific laws (thanks to deregulation), or the constitution.
@TheForwardGaze The Constitution was not designed to manage corporate power because the Founding Fathers never intended Corps to become the monolithic monstrosities they are today.
Corporations have no loyalty or patriotism save that which serves their bottom line. If a corporation can make money colluding with the enemies of the United States or plotting its demise--then it will do so. This is why it is DANGEROUS to allow corporations to make political donations and lobby Congress.
We need a Constitutional Amendment to abolish "Corporate Personhood" and ban corporations from politics
Butler's claims never resulted in any arrests. He provided no hard evidence. The producers should have made this more clear. Was he lying or telling the truth? We may never know. But I do believe his claims about his role in oppressing other countries on behalf of American corporations.
AMERICAN REPUBLICAN FASCISM: Nationalism without merit - Constant desire for "rebirth" Military Worship Worship of the ultra rich Corporation & State collaboration - avoiding labour rights Social Darwinism - "Bad things happen to bad people" Inequality is good & necessary Fraudulent Elections Imperialism - Culturally & Militarly Minimal social policies Corporate media manipulation Anti-intellectual Anti-multiculturalism Anti-homosexuality Anti-labor unions Anti-social democracy
just because they called themselves national socialists doesn't mean they were socialists. In fact they were fascists and germany was paradise for corporations
no use playing with words imo. where i live (oldest culture in europe) those who call themselves socialists are but dictators, slaves and terrorists. thriving corporations are no problem at all as long as the rules are made for the people.
i just disprove your claim that hungary have oldest culture in europe and you ask ME where i go to school?
Just so you know modern borders didn't exist thousand years ago. Oldest culture in europe we know right now was located in modern germany, austria and slovakia. And jes they are indeed countrys, NOT movies
i never said "hungary" as you call it has the oldest culture. please read above/below. and yet you state germany-austria-slovakia is a country (a true fail)... it is hard to argue with you :( im outa this.
what part of "no modern country" even existed back then you don't get . 7000years ago in area of modern germany-austria-slovakia was oldest known culture in europe.
well you said where you live is oldest culture in europe and in profile page is "hungary". So where do you live than
what about the celts?? well the truth is that non of us know which is the oldest culture because out planet earth is so complex that entire land areas can gobble up entire ancient cities within a few hundred years and not leave any evidence behind.
@ZuzerHun what are u trying to say. i hope u know that it wasn't only the nazi's who had these ideas. europe was all about appeasing them and much of the world held there views in terms of the jews and other races.why do u think the faux sciences of phrenology and eugenics were so popular. hosptials in north america tried some of the same methods of sterilization on as the nazi did on there prisoners. so if ur trying to say socialist r evil and democrats aren't it wont stand
i think i made it quite clear this is my point too. "democrat", "nazi", etc. are but meaningless buzzwords. the same corporations were behind the so called nazis and they are behind the so called democrats today. coca cola, general motors, ibm - just a few to name that supported "the nazis"
@madridisinSpain they already have, wen he first came into the white house in 08 corporations and banks were the only people who really had his ear, meeting with him reguarly and discussing future plans....y do you think he bailed them out? obama told us that WE NEED THEIR SERVICES. AND WE NEED THEM TO SURVIVE AS A COUNTRY or else the sky will fall and will all be doomed. watch the obama deception documentary its on youtube as well. it will tell you all you need to know and more!
@flem202 Unfortunately most people think that. Most people have decided that corporations are the worlds only hope to survive. 'If they're not on our side, where do we get our money from?' Sadly, in a way it's true. We've put so much dependency on corporations that they are the only thing we have to fall on now, and they know that, and take advantage of it.
Their is no reason to dumb down versions of this concept. The material in the study course is meant to be understood at an 8th grade level. That is the suggestive material in understanding this. Don't take this the wrong way. I'm only pushing to show others about this.
Disappointing to see the comments on here are either defending the status quo or wanting socialism/communism...their was once a widely known movement called technocracy...A concept thought up by scientist, engineers, teachers everywhere. There conclusion of a Price system collapse is true everywhere. A system based on growth of destruction, resources, and debt is doomed. They even had influence in the F.D.R. administration. 17 members in his cabinet helped contribute. This IS a solution
Yes, the monetary or price system will always destroy itself, or turn into something else. Right now, globalization is the next step for this fake democracy. But, it will fail eventually. Energy accounting is the next logical step to distribute wealth, without any perversity or ecological damage to our environment. The Technate design uses this concept. This is something worth researching and getting involved in if interested. Read the original 22 lesson study course.
I've dreamed of such a world for soooo long! Finally the rich won't get richer, since social classes, economy and politics no longer exist. It's a good idea, but expect to be bashed... people fear change... especially change as drastic as this! But as for me, I'm in!
Yes, we get bashed mainly from the brainwashed, non objective, people who don't seem to take in facts of the dynamic we are now in. We are not interested in "converting" morons. We only present the technical alliance's conclusion and its material, if some don't understand it then that's to bad. We want people educated enough to understand the problem(price system) and logical solutions of some form of an energy accounting system(Technate). Thank you for your interest.
We're in poor condition, phsycologically. I've watched Zeitgeist before, which resembles a lot what you're saying. People criticize it and bash it. I understand where they're coming from, yet everyone knows we're living in a rotten world, so why not change? The worst that can happen is that that world isn't better than this one, but it definately can't be worst. So instead of always living poorly, why not change? I don't get people. Stop bitching about the world if you don't plan on changing it!
Many bash zeitgeist 1 and 2, including me for their cult like approach. The solutions given in Z are only Fresco's, which he got MANY ideas from the Technocracy movement and TechInc. He was a member but left for his own agenda. He disagreed with energy accounting and wants some form of a Price system...Which is retarded if you understand both concepts. The movie is good for pointing out the fiat problems but NOT the price system functions. It's mainly marketing for the venus project.
I agree with you in part. The second documentary was mostly marketing when you think about it (which I haden't really, but you're right) but their first doc was all informative. There is a resemblance with what you're talking about so I see it as only logical that he was an ex-TechInc member. But from what I seem to understand, Tech seems to be more advanced and secure than the VP. But in both cases, their world seems better than our current.
It wasn't anything towards you. I was informing you of the differences. TVP won't work on a small scale, it will fail. That is why TechInc. designed it for the whole continent. All the resources in that area are enough to sustain a HIGH standard of living for everyone within the context designed by the technical alliance. Different areas yield different results, especially small scale, which is bad. Some other oddball groups think they can make a small scale in say Europe...
BUT they don't have enough resources to sustain themselves...They get more than 50 percent of materials/food from other countries for them to consume...so How would that work? It wouldn't. They still need to make fake money to "buy" material so they could consume. So it would be fascist. Whereas the techinc. is not, because they already realized that. PLUS, all the info is FREE and they don't try to make money, unlike TVP and Z. Once you read our material you'll understand my position.
Don't worry, I'm not insulted at all. Why should I be, after all, I do agree that the Z movement is not up to par with TechInc, if I rely on what you're saying. I'll look into both, obviously, but I still stand by the fact that one way or another, doing something is better than doing nothing, whatever that "something" is...
google History and purpose of technocracy Howard Scott. You would understand the position I and many technocrats take in the disavow of the Z movement.
The organization gives facts and science in pointing the problems of the price system out and scientific solutions. The Z movement is all over the place and they don't know anything about a resource based economy. They basically dumb downed the material to the point that they barely know how it would function. Only robots will work. LOL
I in no way mean to defend "the Z Movement" to the death, but I do believe the reason they "dumbed down" their interview was so that it could be comprehended by even the most uninformed or confused person. Their Venus project thing, although almost communist-like, is probably way more complex than they say in the docs. If not, than you're right, that's pretty sad, but keep in mind they had a 2 hour limit for both docs, so they can't say everything they want or need to say.
There wouldn't be lawlessness either. If there is no law, then there is potential that other people's freedoms can be repressed. That is not anarchism.
The people together, with everyone having their voice, would come up with laws that ensure everyone has the freedom to control their own lives and be themselves.
Corporations are not the problem (and neither capitalism). The Problem is when Corporations get in BED with our Government! Corporatism, not capitalism (which creates facism). America will continue to die and be BAD NEWS for Humanity unless everybody wakes up and does the only thing necessary to improve this country - Pick up where JFK left off and Abolish the Federal Reserve (Destroy Illuminati).
You know, for a movie that portrays itself as the antithesis of the corporation, advertising and so on, it sure as hell wants you to buy the DVD and or donate . I must've seen that stupid commercial 23 F#@king times. I hate that bulls%$t.
Smedley Butler is someone you have to learn about in the Marine Corps, starting in bootcamp. This shows that he was really a national hero & good public servant.
GREEN GO, God I mean you blame terrorism of Al Qaeda for killing 3000 americans on 9-11 in New York, but how many died in Chile and in Nicaragua when the CIA got in Latin America...??? I don't hate american people but I do hate US army and american corporation, with this documentary I've realized the way America is and the problem is not american people you should do something against corporations at least stop buying nike and diamonds that support conflicts here in the third world
History always tends to repeat itself because as young children and adults we are never taught the real historic truths. Please help your children to research the history they learn in school. Please help our future generations to become critical thinkers, not mindless followers. Thanks for reading.
1:55- When the General spills his guts on the Newsreel, they say it's taking place at Newtown Square, PA. That's right off the Main Line in PA, where its upscale rich land owners and is a short drive away from me!
You seem to be saying that anarchism is chaos. It is quite the contrary. It is a group of people that develop the community through voluntary work. All of this is done without a leader because the community agrees on things by letting everyone take a part.
That cannot fail unless someone comes along and tries to crush it from the outside.
We need competition to bounce ideas off of eachother. In a way I don't think what your talking about would work. It may work on a small scale, but not nessisarily a big one. At this point in my learning I think the Republic is the best form and we are far from it. Also you have to have Laws or else ppl would go nuts. Like trafic laws, but you can't have too many of them.
the kind that I know works, there is no chaos. Anarcho-communism works when you have a bunch of smaller communities that are independent. The people make their own things. However, if one is scant on resources for whatever reason, they can barter with another for more.
If there are problems, the community can all come together and all voice their concerns. These would be acted upon with regard to each individual, not just a majority...
Has it happened before? or has it been tried out before?
This is important to know.
Also what your saying or talking about might not work on a big scale, but then again "think global, act local"
Also I've taken a class on the middle east. Apparently they have something of a society of clans. And their verry family oriented. One thing that might put ppl at shock though is they marry their cousins(like 1rst and or second), what's not realized is that its a survival technique.
Actually if u took biology and wasn't so ignorant a multitude of animal species live under a hierarchy or social structure. For example a wolf pack consists of alphas, betas and omegas. All work for the benefit of the pack or society, but the alpha repeats the rewards. Same with corporations, the strong survive the weak perish. Evolution and social Darwinism are alike. Want another example? Ant colony.. explain how they don't cooperate.
Alright. point taken. I had just answered quickly. And thanks for proving my point that cooperation not competition is the foundation of society. Societies are also formed so that the not so strong can have a chance at survival in spite of natural selection. Maybe if you had thought a little more deeply and not been so embarrassingly "ignorant" you'd have thought of that. Study ethics in regards to what societies are thought to be.
How are you so sure that competition isn't the bases of cooperation? Every culture fought wars, they knew however to gain advantage that cooperation was necessary. The first cultures cooperated to compete against predatory animals, now humans compete with each other. Well ethics is totally relative to society and based on interpretation. Like a starving kid stealing food for survival. Should he be prosecuted or not? Which ethical standard are you talking/implying of?
Well actually none of what either of us is saying can actually be proved. It is interpretation and therefore subjective. I wasn't talking about ethics per se, i was referring to the subject matter we discussed in an ethics class i took once. One of those topics was put forth by Thomas Hobbes (state of nature). In this theory, Hobbes states that humans began to cooperate in order to survive; and they competed with other tribes for the scarce resources around them.
My original point was that corporations, due to their nature of having producing a monetary profit is bad and has caused harm to humankind. Businesses, as with every other human endeavor, is to benefit humankind. Money has corrupted this. Back to the competition and survival of the fittest statement that you are defending. Believe me there will always be someone fitter than you are in some way. By that logic your are obsolete and should be extinguished.
Well where does that leave humankind. Should we just murder older people or babies because they are not as strong as 20 -30 year olds? Maybe i'm not understanding what statement you are trying to make. Or maybe you are just argueing to argue. If it's the latter, i'll pass.
No the weak and stupid should be taken care by the government, that is the main purpose of it. To provide these services to society. Actually business' goals is to make money, otherwise they would be replaced by a more "competitive/successful" firm or business. Your perspective is flawed, money is just paper that is exchanged. Makes transactions easier, remember barter economy and trading gold? Paper money makes everything easier. You need a basic course of evolution 101.
Everyone is weaker or more stupid than someone else. So, everyone needs to be "taken care of" by gov't? You don't understand why a gov't is. The purpose of gov't isn't to provide services. It's to provide governing in the form of laws. Business was developed to produce goods. So as to make society's and therefore people's needs more easily met. You need to live a little longer youngster. You really don't know as much as you think you do. Now i'm done with you.
Actually human endeavor are driven by our needs. Money is just a mean to get food, water and shelter. We are still primitive mammals, just with more intellect. We are still slaves to our basic needs like need for survival and reproduction. Actually you are half right, since humanity's "fitness" is based more toward financial power it doesn't necessary mean that young ppl r fitter than older individuals. Like it or not business will continue to exist. The only power u have is who to buy from.
Evolution 101? Evolution is taught as a part of the biology curriculum. You are talking about social evolution which falls under sociology. Maybe you aren't as smart as you think you are. You lose... again rofl
Actually it's social Darwinism which evolved from Darwin's evolution theory. Satisfying your needs is part of evolution and biology. It's just that humans are consumers now instead of hunters/gatherers. Yes they use society to get their means, to technically it can be classified as behavioral science. Maybe you should go to college, so you actually know wtf your talking about. Evolution has many forms not just biology idiot. Good day!
I'm not sure what your point is... Nor do I really care. You are a fucking dunce. I have a master's degree in Psychology and have studied all of this crap extensively. What college did you go to? Probably some online university. Your logic is pathetic. Fuck off..... please
Of course you don't. Everyone knows that only dumbasses and people who don't know what to do major in PSYCHOLOGY. A pathetic excuse of a social science. What college did I go to? Northwestern for undergrad, Duke for law school and doing my MBA at UPenn. Thanks for making my point... yes Darwinism does have many forms idiot. Just like in business where the weak perish and the strong survive. Just be know that I will make more money than you with your useless paper aka MA in psychology.
Nice try... So you're bragging that you're a lawyer. Don't make me laugh. Lawyers are scumbags. As to your comment on psychology... maybe it seems pathetic to you because it's beyond the grasp of your tiny little mind. BTW, i also own a newspaper company, and believe me I already have more money than you'll ever see. Sorry... you lose yet again. ROFL about your braggin about your law degree. That's a good one ha ha
Actually I'm not a lawyer but an investment banker. Sure lawyers are scumbags... lol they still make more money than you! Wow newspaper! What a dumb market to be in, have you realized that it is a dying market since the INTERNET was introduced? I highly doubt that your newspaper company is profitable when reputable companies such as TIMES and NY Times are losing millions. Stop bullshitting plz. You still haven't mentioned your credentials. I guess you graduated from an inane college. Figures.
AHAHAHAHAHHAHAH Can't handle my verbal barrage getting under your thin skin? Poor baby I knew shrinks were weak. You can prescribe yourself some meds.
You're verbal barrage is weak and unoriginal... You're a sad pathic person. Who was it that was so cruel to you? You're father? You're mother? I hope those emotional scars heal up for you someday. It's really sad.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Neither actually. I bet that isn't what you want to hear, since mortals like you want to comprehend evil and try to attach it useless labels. I was born this way... no emotion, sympathy or regret. I am never sad or pathetic. I am going to be rich exploiting the weak via business, law and violence. You will never comprehend me. You bore me goodbye.
however, this is mine and possibly Ur problem as well.
Do you want to know who you are? Don't ask. Act! Action will delineate and define you.
Thomas Jefferson
If you think about your life, what capital do you personally actually produce that you can sell. Me, I work on CAD DRWS and know how 2 use a cpu, but I still need others to allow me 2 sell my capital/product(my skill or drw capabilities) The farmer, the blacksmith, n hunter on the other hand, does not neet ppl.
W Edwards Deming agrees... It's too bad that we (The US) can't see his brilliant and simple facts of Quality.
The American system of CEO's and shareholders does not promote quality. Bonuses and performance rewards hurt quality - making someone else look bad makes you look good - Every CEO is looking for the next big jump - no matter who pays...
Look into technocracy and the ORIGINAL 22 lesson study course. That is something worth reading about. VERY interesting and informative history will rise in this research.
Also look into energy accounting, technocracy movement.
Documented fact: he basically orchestrated Pearl Harbor by ordering the bombing of Japanese ships and refusing talks with Japan so they would retaliate. This is because he wanted to get the public riled up for war (they didn't want to enter WWII before Pearl Harbor).
Sound familiar to you - like another politician we all know and ... don't love?
Roosevelt's New Deal was a compassionate but misguided attempt at fixing a catastrophic problem. In reality, pumping the economy with government created jobs creates a need for the government to keep creating jobs. Sending money to the out of work creates dependence on that little bit of help has created dependence for decades to pass. WW2 brought us out of the depression. The New Deal passed some worthwhile regulations but undermined the "make it on your own" values of the country.
It's unsettling to imagine what might have happened had Butler participated in such a plot, or if the businessmen had recruited someone else and been able to overthrow FDR. And I can't believe that nothing ever came of this, considering the Congressional committee supported Butler.
Odd feedback for this video yet again.

Bodhidharma1986 4 months ago
@Bodhidharma1986 Don't forget the fact that our politics and decision making in D.C. is all up to the lobbyists from private corporations who sway government hands. If it were anybody else aside from our rich oppressors, they'd be thrown in jail. The top 1-2% in our economy make a profit off our misery and back breaking labor, why would they want to give that up luxury up for them and their families so everyone else could be happy? That's why they try to demonize socialism every chance they get.
EternalSage07 3 months ago
@EternalSage07 Sure. Part of the "Containment Policy" instilled by Wilson during the first Red Scare here, after the fall of the Czar, in 1918. Then, that followed throughout the 50s and into the Cold war to the 90s. The constant threat of "Communism" in US planning documents. No matter what movement you're a part of (anarchist, socialist, communist, utopianist, whatever), the State planners and corporate structures always referred to free-thought and general concern for others as "Communism".
Bodhidharma1986 3 months ago

HYPOCRITES.
CarmineFragione 6 months ago
@CarmineFragione The rich and corporate America already run the US, you're a little late on that.
ExaggeratedCool 6 months ago
@ExaggeratedCool Corporate America is a clique of Consumers and Manufacturers. Why should some other agency rule over their affairs ? A matter a Law ? We have the Courts, but can the Judge make an automobile, ? Can the President make an airplane ? Government cannot make anything, they are paper pushers and no workers of metal and iron. Corporate America is about actually making things and all else is just about TALK TALK TALK. That is why Russia failed, Talk does nothing
CarmineFragione 6 months ago
@CarmineFragione To call a corporation a "clique" HIGHLY underplays its power in controlling what the government does. As I said before, the corporations have the money, and because they have the money the government feels the need to rely on them. Because they must rely on these companies for money these companies are able to 'get by' with doing shady/illegal acts without being punished. That's a problem. Money may buy freedom, but it shouldn't be able to buy freedom of the law.
ExaggeratedCool 6 months ago
@ExaggeratedCool you have your choice of the Soviet Bund , that didn't work out, or the Nazi Fascist State and that did not work out. So why in the world you attack Wall Street ? Anyone can invest in stocks, and anyone can get off their ass and go to work. But some people think they can steal the other guy's thunder, with a magical trick of politics, You better get your head straight, " To the Victors belongs the Spoils" And it ought to be the people who made the business !
CarmineFragione 6 months ago
@CarmineFragione That argument is such a false analogy. You can't compare a government job to a private business job because they have different purposes. Government exists to provide infrastructure and to create, pass and enforce laws wherever appropriate.
The problem is mainly the fact that we've got corrupt government allowing the large corporations, which exists solely to turn a profit, to do whatever they want via the 14th amendment, deny people of our rights and now $ trumps justice.
EternalSage07 3 months ago
Oh yes, there's a new bigotry being enforced in this country and it isn't the masses picking on poor minority corporations, or those of racial segregation in the South. It's our rich slave drivers whipping the backs of the middle class into submission and having government impose unfair advantage to greedy CEOs so much that the employees (ya know, the people who are doing the actual work) can barely afford to feed our families and pay for utilities in the same month.
EternalSage07 3 months ago
@EternalSage07 Tacitus wrote " the more numerous the laws, the more corrupt the state" If you have no talent, the government cannot supply you with a life. A good government is when the people are superior and could exist without a government. The government that governs the least , governs the best. In the free market, you vote with your pocketbook. If you want an example, the government put out billions for green jobs and all the money went from your pocket to others
CarmineFragione 3 months ago
@CarmineFragione Its not a matter of ruling over their affairs as it is making sure they are not committing illegal acts. The men and woman who run corporations don't know anything about the trades that are involved in making, or creating their product. Just like those who work for the government they are paper pushers, they work in high rises and offices, they aren't the ones welding and working in the factories. Talk is what gets laws passed, and so does money....corporations have have money.
ExaggeratedCool 6 months ago
If this is the best the far left can do , they haven't much of a future. When the Government owns the means of production it is called a Monopoly. It is all about who is wearing what hat. But to imply common people would have control of their government if the government owned the means of production, that is a failed theory. "Power corrupts and absolute Power corrupts absolutely." If the common people want to own their government, they must pay the taxes, not the rich.
CarmineFragione 6 months ago
guilt by association is propaganda crap, and truth is about cause and effect.

Their is no reason to dumb down versions of this concept. The material in the study course is meant to be understood at an 8th grade level. That is the suggestive material in understanding this. Don't take this the wrong way. I'm only pushing to show others about this.
Thanks.

Wait, are you talking about a world without a monetary system? Could it be??
DrunkenLeprechaunPro 2 years ago
Yes, the monetary or price system will always destroy itself, or turn into something else. Right now, globalization is the next step for this fake democracy. But, it will fail eventually. Energy accounting is the next logical step to distribute wealth, without any perversity or ecological damage to our environment. The Technate design uses this concept. This is something worth researching and getting involved in if interested. Read the original 22 lesson study course.
GiveItOrLoseIt 2 years ago
I've dreamed of such a world for soooo long! Finally the rich won't get richer, since social classes, economy and politics no longer exist. It's a good idea, but expect to be bashed... people fear change... especially change as drastic as this! But as for me, I'm in!
DrunkenLeprechaunPro 2 years ago
Yes, we get bashed mainly from the brainwashed, non objective, people who don't seem to take in facts of the dynamic we are now in. We are not interested in "converting" morons. We only present the technical alliance's conclusion and its material, if some don't understand it then that's to bad. We want people educated enough to understand the problem(price system) and logical solutions of some form of an energy accounting system(Technate). Thank you for your interest.
GiveItOrLoseIt 2 years ago
We're in poor condition, phsycologically. I've watched Zeitgeist before, which resembles a lot what you're saying. People criticize it and bash it. I understand where they're coming from, yet everyone knows we're living in a rotten world, so why not change? The worst that can happen is that that world isn't better than this one, but it definately can't be worst. So instead of always living poorly, why not change? I don't get people. Stop bitching about the world if you don't plan on changing it!
DrunkenLeprechaunPro 2 years ago
True.
GiveItOrLoseIt 2 years ago
I agree with you in part. The second documentary was mostly marketing when you think about it (which I haden't really, but you're right) but their first doc was all informative. There is a resemblance with what you're talking about so I see it as only logical that he was an ex-TechInc member. But from what I seem to understand, Tech seems to be more advanced and secure than the VP. But in both cases, their world seems better than our current.
DrunkenLeprechaunPro 2 years ago
It wasn't anything towards you. I was informing you of the differences. TVP won't work on a small scale, it will fail. That is why TechInc. designed it for the whole continent. All the resources in that area are enough to sustain a HIGH standard of living for everyone within the context designed by the technical alliance. Different areas yield different results, especially small scale, which is bad. Some other oddball groups think they can make a small scale in say Europe...
GiveItOrLoseIt 2 years ago
BUT they don't have enough resources to sustain themselves...They get more than 50 percent of materials/food from other countries for them to consume...so How would that work? It wouldn't. They still need to make fake money to "buy" material so they could consume. So it would be fascist. Whereas the techinc. is not, because they already realized that. PLUS, all the info is FREE and they don't try to make money, unlike TVP and Z. Once you read our material you'll understand my position.
GiveItOrLoseIt 2 years ago
Don't worry, I'm not insulted at all. Why should I be, after all, I do agree that the Z movement is not up to par with TechInc, if I rely on what you're saying. I'll look into both, obviously, but I still stand by the fact that one way or another, doing something is better than doing nothing, whatever that "something" is...
DrunkenLeprechaunPro 2 years ago
google History and purpose of technocracy Howard Scott.
LOL
GiveItOrLoseIt 2 years ago
I in no way mean to defend "the Z Movement" to the death, but I do believe the reason they "dumbed down" their interview was so that it could be comprehended by even the most uninformed or confused person. Their Venus project thing, although almost communist-like, is probably way more complex than they say in the docs. If not, than you're right, that's pretty sad, but keep in mind they had a 2 hour limit for both docs, so they can't say everything they want or need to say.
DrunkenLeprechaunPro 2 years ago
There wouldn't be lawlessness either. If there is no law, then there is potential that other people's freedoms can be repressed. That is not anarchism.
The people together, with everyone having their voice, would come up with laws that ensure everyone has the freedom to control their own lives and be themselves.
That and a lot more.
You have a scewered view of anarchism.

That isn't anarchism.
You seem to be saying that anarchism is chaos. It is quite the contrary. It is a group of people that develop the community through voluntary work. All of this is done without a leader because the community agrees on things by letting everyone take a part.
That cannot fail unless someone comes along and tries to crush it from the outside.
Solechnaya 2 years ago
yes anarchism is chaos.
We need competition to bounce ideas off of eachother. In a way I don't think what your talking about would work. It may work on a small scale, but not nessisarily a big one. At this point in my learning I think the Republic is the best form and we are far from it. Also you have to have Laws or else ppl would go nuts. Like trafic laws, but you can't have too many of them.
lorerax1 2 years ago
Before you continue, read "Balunin on Anarchism".
the kind that I know works, there is no chaos.
Solechnaya 2 years ago
Has it happened before? or has it been tried out before?
This is important to know.
Also what your saying or talking about might not work on a big scale, but then again "think global, act local"
Also I've taken a class on the middle east. Apparently they have something of a society of clans. And their verry family oriented. One thing that might put ppl at shock though is they marry their cousins(like 1rst and or second), what's not realized is that its a survival technique.
lorerax1 2 years ago
Yes, very succesfully. Look in your local library for information on 'La Communa De Paris'. Also look for information on the Spanish Revolution.
That's exactly what I think. It definitely could work on a global scale, but people aren't informed enough.
Yeah, that would have been common in tribes. In some Carib tribes, people would inter-marry. Can be very important to survival.

One small point: Cooperation, not competition, is the foundation of society. The two are anithetical.
solgoode1 2 years ago
how so?
an⋅ti⋅thet⋅ical
directly opposed or contrasted; opposite
Now wait a second. Could it not be both? Animals have been competing for resources(land, food, water, trees, air, ect) for millions of years.
I can't just keep giving you something and not get anything in return.
I work hard to make something. You work hard to make something. Say a third person works hard to make something.
I have 3 you have 5 and the other person has 15 of the things they made.
lorerax1 2 years ago
animals compete for resources, yes. But they don't form societies, because they don't cooperate.
solgoode1 2 years ago
Actually if u took biology and wasn't so ignorant a multitude of animal species live under a hierarchy or social structure. For example a wolf pack consists of alphas, betas and omegas. All work for the benefit of the pack or society, but the alpha repeats the rewards. Same with corporations, the strong survive the weak perish. Evolution and social Darwinism are alike. Want another example? Ant colony.. explain how they don't cooperate.
Peternorthisawesome 2 years ago
Alright. point taken. Study ethics in regards to what societies are thought to be.
solgoode1 2 years ago
How are you so sure that competition isn't the bases of cooperation? Every culture fought wars, they knew however to gain advantage that cooperation was necessary. The first cultures cooperated to compete against predatory animals, now humans compete with each other. Well ethics is totally relative to society and based on interpretation. Like a starving kid stealing food for survival. Should he be prosecuted or not? Which ethical standard are you talking/implying of?
Peternorthisawesome 2 years ago
Well actually none of what either of us is saying can actually be proved. It is interpretation and therefore subjective. I wasn't talking about ethics per se, i was referring to the subject matter we discussed in an ethics class i took once. One of those topics was put forth by Thomas Hobbes (state of nature). In this theory, Hobbes states that humans began to cooperate in order to survive; and they competed with other tribes for the scarce resources around them.
solgoode1 2 years ago
My original point was that corporations, due to their nature of having producing a monetary profit is bad and has caused harm to humankind. Businesses, as with every other human endeavor, is to benefit humankind. Money has corrupted this. Back to the competition and survival of the fittest statement that you are defending. Believe me there will always be someone fitter than you are in some way. By that logic your are obsolete and should be extinguished.
solgoode1 2 years ago
Well where does that leave humankind. Should we just murder older people or babies because they are not as strong as 20 -30 year olds? Maybe i'm not understanding what statement you are trying to make. Or maybe you are just argueing to argue. If it's the latter, i'll pass.
solgoode1 2 years ago
No the weak and stupid should be taken care by the government, that is the main purpose of it. To provide these services to society. Actually business' goals is to make money, otherwise they would be replaced by a more "competitive/successful" firm or business. Your perspective is flawed, money is just paper that is exchanged. Makes transactions easier, remember barter economy and trading gold? Paper money makes everything easier. You need a basic course of evolution 101.
Peternorthisawesome 2 years ago
Everyone is weaker or more stupid than someone else. So, everyone needs to be "taken care of" by gov't? You don't understand why a gov't is. The purpose of gov't isn't to provide services. It's to provide governing in the form of laws. Business was developed to produce goods. So as to make society's and therefore people's needs more easily met. You need to live a little longer youngster. You really don't know as much as you think you do. Now i'm done with you.
solgoode1 2 years ago
Actually human endeavor are driven by our needs. Money is just a mean to get food, water and shelter. We are still primitive mammals, just with more intellect. We are still slaves to our basic needs like need for survival and reproduction. Actually you are half right, since humanity's "fitness" is based more toward financial power it doesn't necessary mean that young ppl r fitter than older individuals. Like it or not business will continue to exist. The only power u have is who to buy from.
Peternorthisawesome 2 years ago
Evolution 101? Evolution is taught as a part of the biology curriculum. You are talking about social evolution which falls under sociology. Maybe you aren't as smart as you think you are. You lose... again rofl
solgoode1 2 years ago 2
Actually it's social Darwinism which evolved from Darwin's evolution theory. Satisfying your needs is part of evolution and biology. It's just that humans are consumers now instead of hunters/gatherers. Yes they use society to get their means, to technically it can be classified as behavioral science. Maybe you should go to college, so you actually know wtf your talking about. Evolution has many forms not just biology idiot. Good day!
Peternorthisawesome 2 years ago
I'm not sure what your point is... Nor do I really care. You are a fucking dunce. I have a master's degree in Psychology and have studied all of this crap extensively. What college did you go to? Probably some online university. Your logic is pathetic. Fuck off..... please
solgoode1 2 years ago
Of course you don't. Everyone knows that only dumbasses and people who don't know what to do major in PSYCHOLOGY. A pathetic excuse of a social science. What college did I go to? Northwestern for undergrad, Duke for law school and doing my MBA at UPenn. Thanks for making my point... yes Darwinism does have many forms idiot. Just like in business where the weak perish and the strong survive. Just be know that I will make more money than you with your useless paper aka MA in psychology.
Peternorthisawesome 2 years ago
That's a good one ha ha
solgoode1 2 years ago
Actually I'm not a lawyer but an investment banker. Sure lawyers are scumbags... lol they still make more money than you! Wow newspaper! What a dumb market to be in, have you realized that it is a dying market since the INTERNET was introduced? I highly doubt that your newspaper company is profitable when reputable companies such as TIMES and NY Times are losing millions. Stop bullshitting plz. You still haven't mentioned your credentials. I guess you graduated from an inane college. Figures.

You're verbal barrage is weak and unoriginal... You're a sad pathic person. Who was it that was so cruel to you? You're father? You're mother? I hope those emotional scars heal up for you someday. It's really sad.

Thanks for the compliment. You are truly ignorant if you think "selfish" or being an "asshole" is a bad thing.
Peternorthisawesome 2 years ago
Someone is going to get left out. (me) in this case.
The other person and you could give me parts of the items to try and balence it out, but I don't think ppl would do that.
I think i'd argue both, b/c on the one hand ppl cooperate to make exchanges, but compete for resources at the same time.
idk its hard to explain.
lorerax1 2 years ago
I agree. if one of the winners shares then i would consider that a form of cooperation. btw it is nice to have a civil discussion. Thanks )

lol it is nice.
however, this is mine and possibly Ur problem as well.

Any game with no rules ends up in KAOS...

Had to look up Mr. Deming's philosophies.. hehe Very interesting stuff. I agree with you that the way the U.S. businesses work needs an overhaul.

There is a 3 part video about Deming up on youtube...
Also, a good summary is reading "Deming's 14 points"

Look into technocracy and the ORIGINAL 22 lesson study course. That is something worth reading about. VERY interesting and informative history will rise in this research.
Also look into energy accounting, technocracy movement.

Documented fact: he basically orchestrated Pearl Harbor by ordering the bombing of Japanese ships and refusing talks with Japan so they would retaliate. This is because he wanted to get the public riled up for war (they didn't want to enter WWII before Pearl Harbor).
Sound familiar to you - like another politician we all know and ... don't love?

I don't get the love affair certain people on the left have with FDR. I'm a lefty but I think he was corrupt as any other politician.
The New Deal made the depression worse and longer.
I'm not saying the corporations were right, but that doesn't mean I think FDR was a great guy either. Internment camps, anybody? C'mon!
