I agree. Don't teach a tune A: if you don't know at least a liitle about where it came from, and B: if you can't play it! This was written by Garry Harrison and is NOT a march. He wrote it to be played much faster. It's on his "Red Prairie Dawn" CD which was really well reviewed. You probably picked it up from someone who had slowed it down to teach it.
if you're teaching a tune, you should check out the original - since it's quite different from how you play it - plus, Garry Harrison plays it FAST! seems everyone is playing the B part like the A and it ain't!
