i have the shkr3080a system and my wired remote doesnt have any mounting bracket and the back of the remote is flat and doesnt have any holes or other ways of attaching it to the handlebars. do you have any thoughts on how to mount the remote? thanks.
are you having any problems with amp overheating in that tool box. have same bike and was going to put it there also. please respond at drhntr66@yahoo.com if you have time. thx
No ptoblems with mine - at all! Easy to install, even for a girl!! ;o) It bumps with no problem. Average sound level for me while riding around town is about 23-25. Wooo hoooo!! Puts a whole nother spin on riding my 2006 Vulcan 900 Classic LT!! Antennae not the best but that's not why I bought the system...and I only paid about $130 - to my door! It's gonna be a great summer!
Yeah, this is for the uh..POS Shark system that I just got. It sucks BIG TIME!! GOING BACK. Nothing is good with it. Not sound, not amp, not wattage (250w?! more like 40w) the 'chrome' is not chrome, it's plastic painted with chrome! The attachments for the bike don't allow you to put it anywhere- at least not on my V-Star 1100 w/windshield! I tried to put it on my hwy guards, but need 1.5 clamps, not their 1.25. This is just a horrible unit. Don't recommend.
Hey, im curious. Did that system actually come with mounting brackets to mount your speakers to the bars? Im looking at a set on ebay, but it doesnt really say anything about them.
Thanks, man. I have the same bike you do so will take your advice on getting the handlebar mounts for it. Be safe.

It's never overheated with the amp in the tool pouch area.

Respond to this video... If you put your speakers closer together, there is no music loss at higher speeds....
