most likely *just a guess* if not standard its a half or maybe maybe a hole step down *shrug* just tune ur E string down to his (he plays it often) then tune the rest, standardising it to that ^^

my only advice on this, would be to practice, practice, practice !!!!!!

Think of it as you hit the string on your right hang twice, then onc eon your left hand, then repeat. Practice may help too
