Its really not a question of liking bad news or not. Typically people just like to know whats happening. I don't know if Fox is as popular with them as you think. But I do know that Fox gives news that you will never hear on the other big news nets. Folks who like to be informed will go to both the many liberal outlets and the one that actually gives some conservative viewpoints to get a measure of balance. Bad news sells, sadly... tho I think folks may want good more than nets realize.
