The issue with Wii isn't its graphics which do look poor in comparison to the more powerful consoles. The Wii should have been much cheaper at launch, but was overpriced to compensate for the already outdated technology in the Wii-remote. It's price and the badly implemented controls on many of the games are what made Wii are poor choice of console for a gamer.
Lol, i think that "The conduit" game looked just like Half-Life 2, a considerably older game, those are not graphics standing for the new gen of consoles.
Though i support the idea of judging a game by it's gameplay (duh) rather than it's graphics.
Those graphics are terrible. I can literally see the number of polys on the Red Steel hands and weapons, and the second game on there is almost as bad as Project S.W.A.R.M graphics. Metroid games as well are HORRID graphics. And Resident Evil 4 well, sir, they wouldn't be making an HD remake of RE4 this year if the graphics on any version, GC, PC, PS2, or Wii, weren't horrible.

I suppose that when you're accustomed to seeing trash, your mind begins to tell itself that it actually looks good. @Asturball Xbox and Playstation have great graphics. You know that graphics get improved all the time. Look Xbox games in 2006 and now. That dolphin emulator makes the games look amazing. I wonder if Nintendo would ever do a firmware update to allow 720p. Component cables can handle that level of resolution. Or, even a resolution upscaler attachment. I don't know though, this system came out 4 years ago and even if they could upgrade the Wii's resolution output to 720p it's almost "too little too late."

I'm pretty sure the most important aspect of a game is being able to play it, and If you haven't noticed, the Wii's debut was not meant to impress with visuals, but with game play. It's new innovative controls are what made it next gen.
as long as a game is good it really doesn't matter to me if the graphics are HD. Personally, I don't care to much for HD. It's really not a big deal to me. With the really high end HD TVs it makes movies look somewhat unprofessional and kind of makes the picture look like those of a soap opera

@TehLazaMan I never played Meteroid to be honest lol. It's a good game for Wii but if it was on a real console it would be pretty medicore maybe even worse. I mean, you play it with the Wiimote sidways most of the time, so it could be played with a normal controller. The problem is that the controller sucks being sideways and the graphics are last gen. I mean, why would you play with a controller like that + lame graphics? The 3 Assassin's Creed games STUNNED me. Waaaay better than Nintendo Crap

@Asturball Xbox and Playstation have great graphics. You know that graphics get improved all the time. Look Xbox games in 2006 and now. Move = Wii but 10 times more precise and better and Kinect = Completley new technology that owns. Well Xbox Live is similar to Steam. Both are great. You obviously never played Ps3 or Xbox and regret buying a Wii.

That dolphin emulator makes the games look amazing. I wonder if Nintendo would ever do a firmware update to allow 720p. Component cables can handle that level of resolution. Or, even a resolution upscaler attachment. I don't know though, this system came out 4 years ago and even if they could upgrade the Wii's resolution output to 720p it's almost "too little too late."

As far as I see in the comments, all you people seem to care about is if the game is in HD.
I'm pretty sure the most important aspect of a game is being able to play it, and If you haven't noticed, the Wii's debut was not meant to impress with visuals, but with game play. It's new innovative controls are what made it next gen.

as long as a game is good it really doesn't matter to me if the graphics are HD. Personally, I don't care to much for HD. It's really not a big deal to me. With the really high end HD TVs it makes movies look somewhat unprofessional and kind of makes the picture look like those of a soap opera
