wonderful new renditions of well known songs, you people make many others all over the world very happy! please do cubano chant, along came betty and billie's bounce, I'm looking forward!!!!
Deep down this nation of Pakistanis is peaceful and upholds humanistic values. This track is the epitome of their true feelings.... they acknowledge the music of other continents just as much they bear the BOMBS thrown on them by the forces of other continents. The sensitivity of the nation has not died and the will to live with others is alive. If in this state of tyranny, they can come up with #1 Jazz disc, imagine how much they can contribute in peace time.......!
With a tradition that dates back to Hazrat Amir Khusru in the 13th Century- music like this can only be a good ambassador for Pakistan. Love and Peace from Bangladesh.
Wonderful interpretation of this jazz classic! Surprisingly approachable and wildly enjoyable! I've always thought far eastern music to be synonymous with western jazz on certain levels. Thanks for posting this.
We love the spirit of this music! In 2011, when we are going through fanatic, violent religious extremism, at the same time, we, the peace lovers & believers of humanity in Pakistan, feel proud to recognize the beautiful composition of Dave Brubeck Quartet in our country. We salute Sachal Studio, Lahore, Pakistan, to represent the humane & real face of the country! Thanks.

All good memories of my friend Raza Ul Haq ( Bobby ) come flooding back
from the cricket fields of Louisville & the mid west .
Allah God willing that The collaboration of the Eastern music Masters with Jazz sounds of our Jazz Masters will bring us ALL back together .
Joe Zawinul's Syndicate is witness to these Collaborations as well
