@greymatterrobotics Thank you! We had it built and CAD'ed for a competition on Sunday November 20th but we quickly took it all apart on Monday to try some new designs and ideas out! We are working on the new cad for our next competition on December 2nd and will be posting videos of that when we have it all done.
If you would like to learn how to do CAD like this shoot us a message. We are looking at creating tutorials for other teams to use!
We have some skills in CAD, but we're aware that our time is better spent on the robot than in design, as it's quicker for us to prototype something than to model it.
That said, my skype account is olly.smith4 so if you guys want to chat sometime then just say so! Obviously we'd need to acoount for the 5 hour time difference, i often chat with other teams at 10pm gmt, so 5pm eastern :)
@greymatterrobotics This is the first year we have really gotten our CAD'ing going at the same time as our robot build but it has already fallen behind :/
but since we qualified for NJ states 2 weeks ago we are probably now going to focus on CAD again once we are done with one competition we have this Friday! Hopefully you will see some "action" CAD of our robot such as the new scissor lift moving and other cool tricks!!
@FTC3415 Haha thanks you too! And this isn't the final robot yet the whole front still has to be completed we will be making another video once that part is finalized! See you on Sunday!!!
i have CADed 2 bots for our team and the first won us the PTC design award

Amazing CAD! We couldn't possibly manage something on that kind of a scale! Have you started building it yet?
