Bay made Megatron like a pussy in the last 2 films. Megatron is physically stronger and he has proved it various times in G1, even though Optimus is a Prime. Optimus is just smarter. Megatron would beat the crap out of him in a non-scripted fight :P

In the old cartoon after all he was losing the war, and Megatron out smarted him more then once and when it came to any kind of scientific thing like removing that power generator thing doc arkivil made Megatron did all the work removing it so it wouldn't blow. Really there very equal but if your right if it wasn't scripted would the autobots really have a chance at all.
